"Very nice little establishment. Close to bus and several attractions such as the Uffizi. The bed was comfortable, soaker tub was a wild extra, even though I didn’t get around to using it. The only thing is it is on a busy walk way in our room, so if you have your windows open for air, you will have voices of passing people constantly. The staff were all very helpful, and there is someone on the front desk 24 hours. "

Train station to hotel about 20 - 25 minute walk … either cases phewww !!! There is a river taxi 1 , but can be packed ! … otherwise , definitely recommend , I’d stay again . "

"The location of the hotel was perfect, only an 5-10 minute walk from the train station, and the staff was beyond accommodating and friendly. However, although the hotel Is clean, it is very tired and needs a facelift. The beds felt like prison issue, I don’t think we’ve ever slept on anything so hard and thin. The shower was small but it had amazing water pressure with hot water. I think it’s fine for one night but anything longer would be very uncomfortable. "

"The location of the hotel is great. However, some cons: they charge you if you check in later than 8pm (we didn’t, but something to note). There is no one on location after 8pm, so if you need anything, you’re out of luck until the next day. I wanted more pillows, because the one provided was basically a flat pancake, but I had to deal with it because it was past 8pm. If you want to check out early (before like 10am or something?) you have to remember to do it the night before, otherwise I don’t...

"Please beware if you book a room at the top, I believe we had a superior room, heat rises and although it was rainy and dreary it was HOT UP THERE! Apparently during the month of May, they do not run the AC at all. When we were in the lobby it was COLD. However our room was uncomfortably warm and the only thing was to open windows and have a fan! I wish we were told this. We were not recognized as Expedia VIP members, no perks. A large supermarket and McDonalds nearby with around 8 minutes walk, very convenient when we wanted to cook dinner ourselves using the mini kitchen. "This is a wonderful hotel. A renovated old palazzo, our room (preferred category) was spacious, with high ceilings and large windows with a view over the rooftops. Bathroom is comfortable and modern with a great shower! Breakfast is copious with eggs, bacon and cappuccino included in the price. We were served every morning by Mima, a delightful young server who took great care of us. We even had a quick lunch in the garden on our last day and found the food to be excellent. Location is perfect. Just in front of a vaporetto station which is a big advantage in Venice. Front desk personnel were competent, kind and helpful. One word of warning: the preferred category of rooms includes some that correspond perfectly to the photos and sq meter size on the site. But others are much smaller. Hotel should charge a reduced rate for the smaller rooms of less than 20 sq m. we can’t wait to come back to this wonderful hotel if we can get a large room like the one we had on this trip. "
