The point overlooks North Shore in Kamloops BC. It also has some historical information posted on the sign which describes more about the area. Kamloops has an almost Wild West feeling to it. There are several buildings which still have their character and the charm of what someone would expect to see in the west. Be prepared to experience very hot and dry summers (my curls won't stay and fall flat in minutes). There is a lot of hills and some are quite a challenge to try and climb. I've been here now for 3 days and every part of my lower half is in pain from trying to climb up the side of the mountain back to my hotel.
