Even with things going on at the building it was quiet enough to sleep. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Provided breakfast was fine enough to start the day. Room was clean but it did have some noticeable marks on the walls, a bit of wear and tear and the room did have a slight oder like an older unit. Maybe a renovation is upcoming? My wife has a sensitive nose and the room did not bother her but the room could use a small update to sharpen up its feel. (Granted I renovate and like little details that make a room special) The soaker tub cold water tap wasn’t functional. Which was a “turn off”, notified front staff so I hope they have addressed it. No exhaust fan in main room above tub so the room steams up. Be sure to put the air conditioner on to help. Over all it was a fine stay would consider it again…as long as that tub tap gets fixed.

The room was dirty, counters not wiped, toothpaste in the sink, crumbs on the counter, baseboards filthy, hair in corners, exterior carpets leading up to the room were disgusting.

Property was understanding and so helpful as we had to evacuate due to a wildfire. We arrived at night to a friendly staff member who helped keep us calm and set us up for the night.

This motel pleasantly surprised us given its good price point. The outdoor pool was perfect for a cool down. The flowers and hanging baskets were beautiful. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Our only complaint was the room smelled of cigarette smoke.

I have stayed at a good amount of hotels in Kamloops and this has to be the WORST that I have stayed at yet, on top of the pool being Closed ( when I booked the hotel for the pool) as it was 33 degrees outside after traveling for over 7 hours to the hotel, they lady at the desk gave us a coupon to a pool that we could not use and not even knowing that the other pool was closed to the public till the next afternoon ( I had to call which you would think that they would know at least if the pool was open) they sent us to the YMCA downtown after she had to call her manager to find out... then that evening when we were going to plug in our phones so that we had them for the next night we found out that none of the plugs in the room were so loose that none of the plugs would hold anything, so we had to wait until that next day and driving to actually charge anything, I could not find the WIFI password on a sheet we were told that would be by the TV. I was lucky to figure out how to use the TV but I couldn't find anything on that either I had booked two rooms during this visit to Kamloops and the rooms were on the opposite side of the building to each other, it was like the person at the front desk didn't have a clue what she was doing, I had asked for the manager to call me a couple days after check out and never heard anything... the parking wasn't the easiest, the hotel was looking run down. I get that its a Travelodge but I will not book again

A nice enough hotel but I would not stay here again. The staff was okay but far from good. Unfortunately, we were given a room behind the elevator shaft which blocked light from our room, which booking months ahead I would have thought we would have been given a better location in their hotel. The morning of our check out, the hotel lost power, which was not their fault but how they handled it (or didn’t handle it) shows the overall effort the staff is willing to put to the enjoyment of your stay.; no apology; no acknowledgement of the inconvenience.

Everything was as expected for a Travelodge. Continental breakfast was simple but does its job. Road noise was not an issue once you fell asleep. We will definitely return.
