I work remote. I booked this place because they said they had WiFi. They did not have functional wifi when I got there. So I never checked in or even entered my room (it wasn’t ready yet).
I grabbed my bag, when across the street to finish work and booked a different hotel.
It’s been a week and Expedia still can’t reach the hotel to request a refund for my room. I guess they don’t have wifi nor do they answer the phone. Complete lack of integrity.
There was no receptionist and we waited for 3 hours for a security guard to show up. In the mean time the housekeeping person was alleging that my prepaid reservation was NOT paid and they were trying to charge me for the room AGAIN. To add insult to injury, after having paid for a "suite", they put me in the lowest category possible as they had oversold the hotel. Nobody from reception showed up the entire day even though the person was allegedly on their way the entire afternoon. The housekeeping person said that I would receive a discount the following day. Surprisingly enough there was actually someone at reception that offered no apologies or seemed to give a rat's a$$ about my experience. He said he could not offer any kind of compensation and just simple did not care. The hotel is described as eco chic. I see the eco part but NOT the chic. The room is barely basic and there were ants in the bed. The worst experience I have ever had in México which is very surprising since I usually have exceptional service every where. HORRENDOUS!! Please avoid at ALL COSTS!!
We enjoyed our stay here! Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We enjoyed talking with the staff and getting local recommendations. The location is a bit on the south end but we still felt very comfortable walking everywhere and there were great restaurants nearby. The small patio soaking tub was a nice touch to cool off. Would for sure stay here again! Thanks for the warm accommodations!
The Standard Cabin is very basic but everything works. The deck at the entryway is very small and barely functional. Inside the dark wood initially looks cool but there is barely any lighting so it is always dark. No place to hang any clothes. The beach is 1 minute away as the bird flies but beach access is tightly controlled. You will need to pay to get to the beach or sneak through a hotel.
Breakfast was good. If you are a backpacker looking for a basic room it will work. We stayed one night of our 5 night reservation and forfeit the rest opting to stay at a nearby hotel on the beach.
Dishonest Management, Rooms that Flood & Mosquitos
The rooms leak/flood, there is a large stagnant mosquito breeding pond right in the center, and the management is atrocious. If you stay here DO NOT pay in advance, as they will lie and do anything to keep your money when you invariably check out early. STAY AWAY!!! You have been warned, this place has horrible reviews for a reason.
The room was beautiful and impecable, very inviting, elegant and quiet.
And the staff goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect, I have nothing but good thoughts about Nativa, I'd definitely be back.
The rooms are very affordable and are clean. The bed is comfortable. The hot water lasts less than five minutes and there is no parking. Also, to go to the beach you have to go to a bar and have a drink or drive up the road to go to the public beach. The description "beach front property" is misleading.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
the room was not the one managed in the reservation and not available after 2 nights.
Price is out of range according to location, amenities and conditions of room and hotel.

Stills waiting on my full refund as we were not accepted in the hotel.

Personnel absent patron disparu. Un ÉNORME groupe electrogene bruyant tourne 24/24
Great location. Nice service. Clean and comfortable rooms. Affordable rates. Only issue was the bar next door. The week I was there I saw nearly zero patrons at this bar, however, they blasted their music at concert level decibels very late into the night. Their “Cancun” vibe absolutely wrecked my Tulum mojo.
