The loft where two of us slept would be better suited for kids. Very limited kitchen utensils and cookware. But we managed to cook breakfast. They are dog friendly, 1 dog, 40lbs or less. There is a coin washer and dryer in the marina and there is a nice shower and bathroom area in the one location. By the pool there is a cute outdoor bar area. You can sit there during the day/evening until the bar opens, weather permitting. The pool area is nice, has great bathrooms and outdoor showers. There is even a brand new barbeque area. It is conveniently located between Key Largo and Islamorada. Just a short drive and you're to everything you need. There is a Winn Dixie, CVS, Dollar General and a few chain restaurants down the road, a quick 5 min car ride. I would definitely stay here again if I visit the upper keys again.
