First and foremost a thank-you to all guests of 2022, we have had nothing but amazing feedback, we appreciate you!

A Beautiful Lakefront located in the quiet "Still Cove" development. Private dock, soaring deck views surrounded by glass railing, a BBQ and a child's safety gate are sure to sooth your soul as you enjoy all the outdoors have to offer. In the spring or after a rainfall you can hear the waterfall from the deck offering next level serenity. A beautiful medley of poplar and spruce trees line both sides of the property to add to the beauty of the private large landscaped yard. A fire pit at the center is sure to keep you warm and ready for an evening of entertainment. Rural conditions leave you with well maintained, slow traffic roads for walking or cycling. Being a part of the Canadian Shield also adds endless off trail excursions for hiking on Canada's finest rock outcroppings.

Inside the cabin you will find a nicely updated space with lots of bright windows and a true earthy, airy feel. Starting with the cute entrance sunroom area is a 4 place setting table for evening relaxation to a game of cards or a glass of wine. Enter the open concept living area with full kitchen complete with island and most common cooking fixings. A dining area for 6, spacious living room with 55" smart TV, super comfy couch arrangements, and a woodstove if your stay happens to be in winter. Extended outside the living room is a master bedroom with queen bed, and half bath ensuite closet combination. Down the hall you have a generous sized main bath with glass/tile shower. Two more bedrooms complete your journey at the end of the hall with a queen bed on one side, and a loft bed with double underneath in the other. Playpen and crib can be made available. Cabin is complete with limited data Wifi Internet.

In the area you will find a close by store (Tall Timber Lodge) with full selection of beer, wine, or spirits as well as necessities for food or consumables. Also located is a 5000' private airstrip. If you are planning to fly-in, please call the private airstrip owner to gain authorization use.

Within a short drive you can find hiking trails, biking trails, white water rapids, the Old Pinawa Dam, a large suspending bridge trail and endless nature to explore. Lac Du Bonnet is only a 20 minute drive up the road.

WINTER: At the heart of snowmobiling in Manitoba! Right off the main trails that connect you to every other trail in Manitoba! A snowmobilers paradise, recommend a 1 week minimum stay to take in all that snowmobiling has to offer out here!

SUMMER: Boating, fishing, swimming, tanning, hiking, biking, the opportunities are endless as you enjoy the friendly waters of the Winnipeg river system. Being between two controlled flow hydro electric generating stations, the water level is always consistent.

Amazing family cottage
Three generations of family stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Tons of toys for our toddler, and the little beach down by the dock was a hit as well! The cabin was stocked with everything you needed, was very clean and comfortable. Loved our stay! Great location, would stay here again.

Great place on the lake!
A wonderful property and a gracious host who goes out of your way to make sure you enjoy your time there. The cove that the cabin is on is very calm, which adds to the peace of this place. A great place to kayak or paddleboard from!

Great Family Holiday
We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, comfortable linens and mattresses. Great activities for young children. Clem, the father next door was welcoming and helpful. Our 12-year old enjoyed playing with their young grandchildren. We had so much fun with the paddle boards. All together, a great stay!

Perfect Family Getaway
We had a wonderful stay at this SPOTLESS, lovely, modern cabin. The location is peaceful and feels secluded while having amenities a short drive away. We brought our kayaks and made use of the pedal boat and SUPs daily. The kids loved dip netting for minnows off the dock and making a fire for s’mores. We all enjoyed the view while sitting on the deck. The host’s father was extremely kind and made for an even more memorable experience. Our kids would look for him and already miss him (and the cabin)!

Gorgeous cabin on an incredible cove.
I rented this cabin in Still Cove for a week in June 2023, for a special family reunion. This place did not disappoint. We needed extra beds because we didn’t have enough at our place down the road. The host Myles was fantastic, and had the air conditioner going upon arrival! I did not stay in the cabin but my family members did. They were very pleased with everything. It is modern but with the cabin feel, and the waterfront lot was spectacular! The two paddle boards and the paddle boat were enjoyed by the kids. Check in was effortless. And the place was spotless. Thank you Myles for letting us rent your beautiful home for such a special occasion, it was incredible.

Great Cottage Get Away!
'Just returned from 5 days at this Still Cove property. The description was very accurate and we were very pleased. Check in and check out were seamless. Myles answered all of my questions in a timely fashion and his kind dad lives next door if anything is needed. I was most impressed with the cleanliness upon arrival... this matters A LOT to me and nothing fell short. We also really enjoyed the use of the paddle boards and peddle boat. Swimming off the dock is questionable but we found a great little beach just down the road and that worked for our needs. Thanks Myles and Clem, for your warm hospitality.

Whiteshell WOW!
We just loved this place! Being in the cove, we did not have to worry about it being too windy on the lake, we were able to paddleboard every day. The boys also enjoyed the pedalboat and Xbox. Surprisingly, the bugs were not bad so we sat on the deck with our morning coffee, ate lunch, enjoyed wobblypops, and sat around the fire late into the night. The location was perfect for cliff jumping at Tulabi Falls, sitting in the rushing water at Rainbow Falls, and a full body workout at Hoopla Island (just to name a few of the great activities in the area). Highly recommend this place to everyone! Oh, and the kitchen is fully stocked, beds are super comfy, and open windows and fans kept us cool at (no need for air conditioning).

Perfect little getaway
The property was happily situated and well equipped for our stay. Our family enjoyed the dock and water. There were toys and a crib that the kids were able to play with. Interior of the cottage was lovely and although we had one rainy day we were all quite content inside. The owner was lovely and checked in on us twice with a back up propane tank for the bbq. Mosquitoes were extra bad this year because of the amount of rain we had this spring, pack your bug spray.

Just Book It
The cabin was exactly as shown in the pictures. The location is perfect and the view is gorgeous. The trees make it seem very private and the bonfire area is great. Everything you need is supplied, other than spray cooking oil if you want that, and a whisk. The BBQ is good quality and we used it a lot. The air conditioning is very nice and I loved having a dishwasher. The beds were very comfortable and the cabin is laid out well. We had eight people and it felt roomy with lots of area to spread out. My young girls were thrilled there were dress up clothes and toys for them. There are lots of board games, etc for the whole family. We spent a lot of time on the water. There is a waterfall close by, only a few cabins to the left, which was a favorite spot. We did swim, but because we were there in June it was still a bit cool, but no issues. The cove is definitely the warmest area to swim. Since the cabin is in the cove you can be on the water even when it is windy. If you want to go out further, then you have to pay attention since the waves are bigger once you get out into the open. We all agreed being in the cove was a huge advantage so we had more days on the water. The paddle boards and peddle boat provided were used everyday and we also took along our kayaks. You can take boats out and the boat launch is very close to the cabin. We did have the best luck fishing, but we know it can be a great place for that. We caught some, but none that we kept. Everyone we met in the area was very nice. The neighbor and the person you talk to if there are issues is the owners Dad. They have a cabin right beside the rental. He is fabulous and is extremely kind. The cabin is easy to get to off the highway. Look for the flags and take the first left after that. For quick supplies go to Trappers. Turn right once you are back on the highway, which has fuel and all the basics for food you need from a small store. If you turn left once you are the highway there is Tall Timber (turn off at the big shed and go left on the gravel down to the marina) which is mostly a liquor store, but also has items such as milk, pizza, bread, popcorn and bug spray. There are play structures there for the kids to play on. There is lots to do in the area, but I highly recommend the old Pinawa Dam. Also, at Pinawa is Hoopla Island, a water park for the kids, and a beach. We did lots of hiking and biking. It is a beautiful area.
