House was very clean, beautifully decorated and had all the essentials and more! Including sunscreen :) The screened porch was a great place to sip coffee and watch the birds at the bird feeder- and stay away from the mosquitos! Grill was available along with all the supplies. The host provided plenty of recommendations for restaurants (we tried the Dredge, Merrior and Los Compadres- all great!) , things to visit and explore. We loved Wake beach and Hughlett point natural area preserve- highly recommend taking the shore trail (pic below) . Choice of 2 Supermarkets about 15-20 min away. Ride into town is under 10 min. We ventured more often into Kilmarnock , slightly bigger town with a nice park. Host was available when we had questions and responded promptly. We also had our small dog who had the big yard to explore.
