Casa Bàn. Casa Bàn is a unique contemporary villa located in the beautiful countryside of Puglia placing itself between Sava, Manduria and Maruggio in the heart of the Salento and less than 10 minutes from the Ionian coast and beautiful beaches at Campomarino. The property is a modern detached villa designed to maximise the beautiful southern European light, the recent construction merging seamlessly with the natural surroundings of the Puglia countryside was designed with a passion for clean lined elegance with finishes being hand picked to create an elegantly contemporary yet welcoming aesthetic that is a beautiful complement to the striking architure. The villa is located on its own large private site with an abundance of fruit trees bordered by fragrant laurel trees and rosemary plants. The house comes with a substantial swimming pool measuring 14m x 7m. The property has four bedrooms the master suite has a generous dressing area and large en-suite. Two further spacious double rooms and one twin room furnished with twin/bunk beds suitable for children. Each bedroom comes with its own ensuite bathroom. The villa has WiFi throughout. There is a large comfortable living room with Apple TV where guests can use all the TV platforms to stream programs and films when they like. . The property has a large modern kitchen with american style fridge freezer, microwave oven, five burner hob and a large dining table with seating for eight people. At the rear of the property is a terrace with direct access from each of the bedrooms, the living room and the kitchen. Outside on the terrace is a large 8 seater table covered by a large pergola for Alfresco dining. The property comes equipped with its own large gas barbecue. The pool situated off to the rear of the property has a large terraced area with two further pergolas with sofas and chairs . It is less than 2km to local supermarkets and restaurants and less than 10 mins drive to charming seaside town, beach and marina at Campomarino. It's really as good as the photos and is just a wonderful place to stay. We loved the peacefulness of the location, and the pool is amazing - just the right size for 8 of us. The kitchen is so well equipped, and the living room is really comfortable. Prior to us arriving Miriam - the owner was great in communicating quickly and efficiently in answering queries or advising on logistics of arrival. She very kindly arranged for some kids beach toys to be at the villa as my 4 year old daughter was desperate to make sandcastles on the beach. Similarly, Serina, the local contact for the property was amazing in making arrangements for our arrival and despite our late arrival (after 2am due to delays of flight and a long queue at the hire car place) waited for us to arrive and was wonderful in getting us checked in and making sure we had all we needed. Serena was always quick to respond to minor questions on how something worked or queries with the bins etc. She quickly (like within hours!) got us some bases for the umbrellas so we could sit round the pool in some shade. The location is rural and you definitely need a car to enjoy the area. We went on various day trips to Lecce, Locorotondo & Alberobello, and Matera, all of which I would recommend. We went to the beaches, but it was the shoulder season (late May) not everywhere was open. We loved Casa Ban and I recommend it without any hesitation. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! ##### Robert B. Außer Zirpen ist nichts zu hören! Der Pool ist das absolute Highlight, groß und, dank des netten italienischen Housekeepers, jeden Tag sauber. Die Kommunikation mit Miriam war stets zeitnah u überaus freundlich, ebenfalls mit der Verwalterin Serena vor Ort, die sofort reagierte, wenn uns was fehlte, wir Fragen hatten und uns stets gute Tips gab. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ca 10min mit dem Auto entfernt, der nächste Strand 15min. Die sehenswerten Städte Taranto, Lecce, Ostuni und Alberobello erreicht man nach ca 40-60min Fahrtzeit und sind einen Besuch wert.
