Thought this would be a good place to stay near the Termini that fits our budget. It was quite a long walk to this place from Termini, with our luggage in tow. We had trouble getting into the premises though we rang the bell number 12 (as advised by the staff), the lady to attended to us had difficulty understanding us and emphasized that she was only there to clean the rooms and the guy in charge was not around. Guess she didn't really know how to release the lock of the main door and it took her such a long time till she came down to rescue us. Unfortunately, this poorly trained lady was also the one doing the check-in for us. She had to check us in while getting instructions from someone else on the phone. As we were running late to go to the Sunday Papal at the Vatican, this was extremely frustrating. When she was done with the paper work, she brought us to our room, where we dropped our bags and left for the Vatican. When we returned that night, we were told that they had move our bags to another room as this room was meant for someone else. Seriously......and it didn't end here. I discovered that there were dirt and lumps of hair under our bed sheets, and it made me feel extremely uneasy that night. We also had a staff knock on our door one night when we were ready to call it a night, informing us that they needed to refund us in cash urgently as they had mistakenly charged our card twice.
The neighborhood was a little sketchy too....Never ever returning here.
