Lower level of house is nice and open with a lot of windows facing the lake. Upstairs has the 7 bedrooms - 6 of which had attached bathrooms. Bathrooms and showers are small but they work. The setting is gorgeous and the lake was peaceful, with not much traffic. The lake is nice and clear (rocky bottom so you might want water shoes) and we loved hearing the loons. We loved having our own bathrooms in the 6 en-suites, the kitchen, amenities and cleanliness were outstanding. Did I mention we loved the 8 person HOT TUB!!! The kids wanted the ping pong table, arcade and darts. The weather was nice enough so we took out the kayaks and canoes too. We are definitely coming back. Sad to see the price increase so much for next year. We loved how spacious the place was - the living space is huge and there are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The view is also beautiful. However, the place was very dirty, with food residuals in the kitchen and mold in the bathrooms. Additionally, there was a major bug problem, dead and alive, including ants, Japanese beetles, large beetles, just to name a few. Overall, it’s a great place for a large group, but it really lacks cleanliness. ##### Morgan V. The venue is perfect for large groups; our family (aged 20-82) had fun doing puzzles, playing the arcade and ping pong, and spending time outdoors. The lake is beautiful, calm and peaceful. The “kids” had a ball playing on the trampoline and relaxing on the raft. There were a few issues that arose over the weekend. One bathroom had a hole in the shower ceiling with a “Do not use” sign on it. We got a text on our 2nd day telling us we couldn’t use the hot tub for the duration of our stay. Part of the sectional was broken and unsafe for use. A sink and shower drain were not working. At 7pm on Saturday night, while attempting to feed our large group brats and burgers, we realized the gas grill would not light. A trip to the gas station to fill the propane tank did not help. The grill appears to be very well used and attempts to fix it did not work, it does not appear to be rehabable and needs to be replaced. While we did get someone to call us back on Thursday about a few of our concerns and the septic system was pumped the next day, our other concerns were not addressed. Calls to the company the day after we got home were futile as the voicemail was full. In summary, this site is fantastic for large groups; you won’t find another like it. We had another great time. The fishing was even better so the kids were loving it. Did a little boating, boating and kayaking. We did a lot of floating as the lake was beautiful!
