This was the only hotel with an internet listing that had a room available. This may be why it was priced so high, but the price is a big part of what added to our disappointment. The bed was comfortable and efforts were made to make the room cheerful, but the truth is, the place is a dive. The carpet was gross, one of the lampshades was squashed and the base had fallen over, and old spills and stains visible in places on the wall. Had it been priced as a dive, we would've expected it and wouldn't have been so irritated. This is not a $100 per night hotel.
