This is an old roadside motel not a hotel. Free breakfast is a joke. Bed is hard and linen very old. Didn't take a shower because it didn't seem clean.

Pros: Not much
Cons: Be honest and tell people not to expect a continental breakfast
Location: Redwing is a beautiful area with many things to do. We'll be back, just not to this motel
At 7:30 we went for coffee and breakfast. Doors were locked. Knocked and got manager to answer. No coffee,no nothing!!

Old, outdated, unsafe

Posted 15-Aug-2016
This hotel needs some serious TLC. When I pay over a $100 for night I expect a place where the bulbs are covered, where the toilet does not make a sound of an airplane. Not worth it, it is not a $100/night hotel

Wasn't the worst

Posted 9-Aug-2016
Wasn't the worst hotel we've stayed in, but definitely was no where near what we were expecting. Our room did have brand new carpet, so it shows that they are at least trying to do some upgrades. However, it still really stunk in our room. So we left the window open with the airconditioner on while we were gone to air out the room. I personally slept really, really good on the king size bed, but my husband says he didn't. We did not use the pool nor go to their breakfast in the morning, which we suspect was probably cold cereal & some muffins with coffee. Despite out disappointment, the guy at the front counter was really nice & friendly.

Quiet, easy to get to. Close to Lake Pepin.

Posted 25-Jul-2016
Pros: Clean sheets, tv, air conditioned, hot water, refrigerator, microwave.
Cons: Cleanliness.
Location: South of Red Wing a few miles. Close to Lake Pepin. Lots of Antique shops, Red Wing Shoes are made there, River boat rides, Casino (?)
We had a reservation. When we arrived early we were told to "come back at 3 pm. NO EARLY CHECK iN.!!!! Rude. At 3 we returned. Man at counter very efficient and nice. Motel was already very full. No early check in? Ha!

A filthy, deteriorating Motel next to a prison.

Posted 4-Jul-2016 on Hotels
We were winging it on a fourth of July weekend and made a reservations through hotels.com on the night before. This is the only reason we didn't cancel the motel stay once we got there. It was already paid for and was too late to get a refund. The photo of the motel office building looked pretty nice and we were in a hurry so we didn't bother to read any reviews on the place. Big mistake! We will never do that again. This was a filthy, deteriorating motel located right next to a prison. To be honest, the inmates probably had better accommodations.

Juat a room to sleep in..cheap price

Posted 3-Jul-2016 on Hotels
Beds are comfy. Motel is run down, needs up dating, repairs. Quiet area, OK pool, OK breakfast. If you just need a place to sleep the bed was fine. You get what you pay for.
