This was the filthiest room we've ever seen -- cobwebs, dead insects, dirty toilet seat, and more. The manager made no apologies nor any effort to find us a clean room. We told him we were leaving and his response was "That's fine."

Pros: The front desk was very friendly and helpful! They do have a breakfast, but don't expect much. They had two cereals and some toast you could make. It worked for the kids.
Cons: Rooms could have been a little cleaner, but you get what you pay for. We just needed a place to stay with a pool so it worked for us.
Location: Plenty of restaurants near the hotel!

Not a hotel.

Posted 31-Oct-2016
Pros: The floor was clean and bed comfortable. Not much else.
Cons: Use a bulldozer and start over.
It is an old outdated motel, not a hotel. The actual pool and hottub were in good shape. The floor and beds of the room were in good shape. Everything else around those was a dump. Rusting fixtures and rundown doors and walls. Base of a wall in the pool area was crumbling. Fine if you are taveling where you arrive late, fall asleep, and leave early.

Economy with all the amenities and great location.

Posted 31-Oct-2016
Pros: The rooms were fully equipped clean and the pool area is generous, great for lap swimming. We especially enjoyed the location away from the downtown congestion, yet 5 minutes away. It is located right across from Covill Park where we launched our kayaks for a fun day on the Mississippi .
Cons: The hotel staff was not welcoming. A smile would go a long way to change this first impression when you arrive to check in/
Location: Don't miss stopping at the Fair Trade Bookstore, Hanisch Bakery and Bev's for breakfast. All classics and unique.

This is an old roadside motel not a hotel. Free breakfast is a joke. Bed is hard and linen very old. Didn't take a shower because it didn't seem clean.

Pros: Not much
Cons: Be honest and tell people not to expect a continental breakfast
Location: Redwing is a beautiful area with many things to do. We'll be back, just not to this motel
At 7:30 we went for coffee and breakfast. Doors were locked. Knocked and got manager to answer. No coffee,no nothing!!

Old, outdated, unsafe

Posted 15-Aug-2016
This hotel needs some serious TLC. When I pay over a $100 for night I expect a place where the bulbs are covered, where the toilet does not make a sound of an airplane. Not worth it, it is not a $100/night hotel

Wasn't the worst

Posted 9-Aug-2016
Wasn't the worst hotel we've stayed in, but definitely was no where near what we were expecting. Our room did have brand new carpet, so it shows that they are at least trying to do some upgrades. However, it still really stunk in our room. So we left the window open with the airconditioner on while we were gone to air out the room. I personally slept really, really good on the king size bed, but my husband says he didn't. We did not use the pool nor go to their breakfast in the morning, which we suspect was probably cold cereal & some muffins with coffee. Despite out disappointment, the guy at the front counter was really nice & friendly.
