never stay there again

Posted 17-Aug-2015
Pros: nothing, it was horrible
Cons: Everything
Location: We were there to bike the cannon river bike trail
the room was very old and dirty. Walls were dirty and damaged, carpet was dirty, vanity was stained. Air conditioner didn't work, was noisy and continually kicked on and off all night. The pool was ok but hot tub was out of order. The continental breakfast was very incomplete even for a very minimal continental breakfast. We would never stay there again or recommend this place to anyone.. Have even considered asking for a refund! Yes, it was that bad!!!!!!!

Mediocre Hotel

Posted 10-Aug-2015
Pros: Honestly, it just wasn't my cup of tea, at all.
Cons: Fix the doors to the rooms, teach the staff courtesy and understanding, fix the hot tub, and update the rooms so that they are more inviting.
Location: Treasure Island was 20+ minutes away, and downtown was 10 minutes away. There was nothing in walking distance; it was on the side of a busy street.
This hotel was not what I expected. When I first got there I asked the woman at the desk if there were any king rooms available, she said she was trying to figure that our herself, and then handed me my keys. As I was about to walk out the door she informed me that I should not use the outdoor entrance to my room because there is something wrong with the door. She also informed me that the hot tub was not running, which is something I always look for in a hotel. I was very disappointed. The room had a nice tv, a mini fridge, and a microwave, but other than that the rest of the room was very old looking, and could use some repair/replacing. The floor was all scratched up. No couch or comfy chair, just two desk type chairs. The bed was fine, and things were clean, which was the only plus side of this stay. In the morning I called the front desk to ask about the time frame of breakfast, the man who answered merely said "hello" which made me wonder if I had hit a wrong button on the phone. I asked my question and he said "until 10" and hung up. I will never stay here again, because I like the feeling of comfort and romance when I choose to stay in a hotel.

Pros: The location.
Cons: An older motel.

A decent room for the price. An older motel. It seemed clean and was ready when I needed it.

Dirty & warm

Posted 17-Jul-2015
The tub looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months, it was disgusting. The vanity had wet, greasy spots all over it & there was a nasty long black hair in the sink. The AC was a wall unit that was about the size of a toaster and couldn't begin to fight off the 90 degree weather we were having. The manager basically called me a liar about the AC stating that the person that stayed there the previous week complained about it being too cold in the room, well that week the outside temps were in the 70's! Would never stay there again, and the only reason I did was because they allowed pets at $10/day but then stick you in their crappiest rooms!
