Clean, reasonable accomodations, but really run down. Almost empty.

the top sheet had a hole in it

Cons: The place needs an update.
The pool is detached from the rooms, so you have to go outside and key code to gain access. It was a nice pool and hot tub. The shower room was not very clean.

Cons: The hot water situation
Location: Fairly close to downtown
We were not told it was a motel n not a hotel. The price changed on us. We had 6 rooms and only one had much hot water. The place as a whole could use some work.

Filthy

Posted 18-Nov-2016
This was the filthiest room we've ever seen -- cobwebs, dead insects, dirty toilet seat, and more. The manager made no apologies nor any effort to find us a clean room. We told him we were leaving and his response was "That's fine."

Pros: The front desk was very friendly and helpful! They do have a breakfast, but don't expect much. They had two cereals and some toast you could make. It worked for the kids.
Cons: Rooms could have been a little cleaner, but you get what you pay for. We just needed a place to stay with a pool so it worked for us.
Location: Plenty of restaurants near the hotel!

GROSS AND DISGUSTING

Posted 7-Nov-2016 on Hotels
The room was disgusting!!! The tub was dirty, there were black marks all over the wall, there was white stuff splattered on the wall and a HUGE brown stain on the side of the mattress! We didn't notice all of this when we checked in due to the fact we just dropped our bags off and left for the Marine Ball. When we got back to the room that night there were no other vacancies near us. If there would have been we would have been out of there!

Not a hotel.

Posted 31-Oct-2016
Pros: The floor was clean and bed comfortable. Not much else.
Cons: Use a bulldozer and start over.
It is an old outdated motel, not a hotel. The actual pool and hottub were in good shape. The floor and beds of the room were in good shape. Everything else around those was a dump. Rusting fixtures and rundown doors and walls. Base of a wall in the pool area was crumbling. Fine if you are taveling where you arrive late, fall asleep, and leave early.

Economy with all the amenities and great location.

Posted 31-Oct-2016
Pros: The rooms were fully equipped clean and the pool area is generous, great for lap swimming. We especially enjoyed the location away from the downtown congestion, yet 5 minutes away. It is located right across from Covill Park where we launched our kayaks for a fun day on the Mississippi .
Cons: The hotel staff was not welcoming. A smile would go a long way to change this first impression when you arrive to check in/
Location: Don't miss stopping at the Fair Trade Bookstore, Hanisch Bakery and Bev's for breakfast. All classics and unique.
