This condo, set on the North Shore of Kauai, is conveniently close to top golf courses and plenty of breathtaking views. Discover nearby beaches like Anini and Hanalei with clear, calm waters for swimming, snorkeling, and windsurfing. Or venture out a bit further to Nā Pali Coast State Wilderness Park for some scenic hiking and even more unforgettable views. The nearby town of Hanalei, with its charming shops and terrific restaurants, is less than four miles southwest. And if you're looking for additional activities, hit the off-road trails on an ATV, go ziplining, or find the perfect picnic site on horseback at Princeville Ranch, two miles down the road.

Great unit on the north shore of Kauai

Probably the best unit on the property. Well laid out. Fantastic deck. Excellent, uncrowded pool. Accurate description and pictures. Dealing with the property manager (Vacasa) needs improvement as they are based in Portland and don’t seem to be able to rely on their local team. In our case there was no Wi-Fi for the entire stay which was challenging for some professional obligations, let alone no tv.

Great place!

The beds were great, which is always my biggest concern, but this place delivered. Beautiful set up with lots of indoor space and outdoor spots to chill on the veranda. Plenty of beach gear including backpack cooler, chairs, body boards and snorkeling gear. We didn’t use the pool but it looked like a great spot to relax as well. Overall A+. Property manager called me the first day due to a running fan and she was fantastic as well.

Best Stay Ever!!

This property is truly a gem! The hospitality of its owners is felt throughout. From wide porches, abundant seating, and grill to cook up some local fish— it checks all the boxes! Close proximity to a nice little grocery store as well as beaches, is a super-plus!! Sadly, we didn’t discover the closet full of beach amenities available for our use until just before leaving— but we will definitely be back and will refer this lovely VRBO in Kuai to friends & family! 👍👍

Lovely Home in Kauai

I had a wonderful stay at this home in Kauai! It was full of thoughtful amenities, and in a great location, close to farmer’s markets and a beautiful, uncrowded beach.

Great apartment but…

I would give 5 stars because this place is really nice, perfectly located and has nice facilities (great pool and ping pong table). ButI’m giving 4 stars for the following reasons: 1. There was broken glass on the floor of the lanais. One of my kids cut their foot, stepping on it. We found more broken glass under the sofa in the TV room. 2. One of the patio doors (behind the sofa) wouldn’t lock because the lock was broken. 3. It was equipped with state of the art equipment (like a Kitchen Aid professional mixer) but didn’t have basic salt and pepper. I’m not looking for all possible spice options but à base would be useful. There was also only 4 toilet paper rolls, 2 paper towel rolls and 3 dishwasher pods. Honestly, that was pretty cheap. 4. I tried contacting Vacasa but, I don’t travel with a roaming plan. The only way to reach them is by phone or text. So, I activated my phone line and, after waiting 15 min on hold and likely paying 30$ in roaming fees I hung up. Dealing with an individual owner is much easier than dealing with a corporation like Vacasa. Aside from that, the apt was great.

Clean, amazing porch!

We loved our stay. The whole unit is well equipped with all the beach gear we needed (for kids too), the kitchen is also very well equipped. Loved our stay, would highly recommend this place!

Pinch me….I must be dreaming

This condo is exceptional! Everything is as described…. and more. Our trip was as much family reunion as it was sightseeing and exploring. The wraparound porch provided adequate space to relax and chat together or apart for more personal quiet time. Two cautionary comments that we experienced , however. One was we could not enjoy the wraparound porch after sunset because of mosquitoes. The nights we cooked in, we learned to grill before dark and eat inside. Second was I was surprised at how scant the provisions were. One roll of paper towels for a week, no tissues, no salt and pepper! I had never experienced this at other VRBOs. Did it affect our stay? No…but I would have come more prepared. Mahalo for sharing this property with our family. It was truly a gift for the soul.

This condo was spectacular! It was spacious, airy, and super cute. We especially loved the HUGE lanai with so many seating options to get the perfect view and sunlight. We had everything we needed, lots of towels and dishes, and the location was perfect. I'd definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at Mauna Kai! Everything was perfect and exactly how it looks in the photos! Very well appointed with supplies, towels, and everything we needed for a magical vacation for our family! The lanai is amazing and huge, we especially loved the hanging egg chairs! Would definitely stay here again, and hope to be back soon!
