The Tulip Tree is a part of a duplex and shares a wall with The Highway House. Each unit is fully independent with its own entry and parking. This is the perfect spot for a family or two couples looking to get away and enjoy everything Prince Edward County has to offer! Ideally located between Wellington and Bloomfield, giving you close access to the Millennium Trail, wineries, restaurants, art galleries, Taste Trail and Sandbanks Provincial Park (15-20 minutes by car). Come explore all that the County has to offer.

The Tulip Tree is a part of West Lake Cottages along with The Highway House. This resort consists of 12 cottages that can all be rented together for larger groups. These cottages share the waterfront and all have access to 2 docks that can fit a boat up to 20ft (ask if docking possible). The waterfront is about 500 metres from the house, down the Westlake cottages driveway and has walk in access, boat launch and a mix of rocks and sand. Water shoes are recommended. The Millenium Trail is easily accessible nearby for those who wish to explore the County on bike.
WATERFRONT ACCESS: To access the waterfront guests at must use the driveway by the West Lake Cottage sign. There are trees lining the west side of the driveway, you'll pass a dumpster and then the other 10 units, head towards the waterfront and see the boat launch. Do NOT USE the laneway directly behind the Tulip Tree. This is a PRIVATE drive as marked.

In high season (Canada Day to Labour Day) different check-in/out times are strictly non-negotiable. Early Access to drop off belongings or to get the beach pass cannot be granted, no exceptions. A fee of $200 will apply for those who arrive early or depart late. In other seasons, reach out to your Host NO SOONER THAN 2 BUSINESS DAYS in advance of your stay to see if early in/late out might be possible. Guests may use the park pass only for the duration of their stay, not prior to check-in or after check-out.

A cleaning fee of $100 plus fees and taxes (where applicable) is charged for each stay. This fee covers the cost of ensuring the property is ready for your group. The property is less than a 10 minutes drive to both Wellington and Bloomfield. Close to wineries, breweries, restaurants and more. Approximately 20 minutes to Sandbanks and 20 minutes to Picton.
