We loved our stay! The kids had so much fun at the wave pool and splash pad/slides! They also loved the earlier shows at night geared towards kids. The food at the resort was excellent too, and all staff were super friendly. The resort was very well kept.

This entire resort has beautiful grounds and wildlife. The Lindo/Maya section is targeted toward Childern, and probably not worth the upgrade if you are not traveling with Children.The rooms could use updating, but they are clean and comfortable. There was very little entertainment for the adults and no place to spend the evening hangin out in a group larger than 6. The Del Mar/Beaches lobbies both offer more seating and quite areas to sit, play cards, talk...

We had a great time at this resort. The buffet was amazing! We originally had restaurant reservations, but we didn't want to have a schedule so we cancelled them and ate only at the buffet. I think this is a great resort for families. There are kids shows almost every night and the water slides were very good for my 9 year old. The beach was beautiful. Definitely get the app, and join the activities. Beach volleyball and zumba were some of the activies that I loved.
