Blueberry Cottage Lake Champlain

Reconnect with loved ones in this family-friendly place. The cottage compound is ideal for quiet stays, romantic getaways and nature-filled family vacations. The cottage is freshly furnished with a fully-equipped kitchen. Cable TV, DVD player, linens and wireless internet are provided. The are 3 kayaks, 1 paddle boat and 1 canoe for guest with paddles and life vests available. This is a non-smoking property. Pets are allowed with approval from the management.
No smoking, in or around cottages. Smoking is allowed by the fire pit.
Pets are welcome, with an additional fee.

We ask of you upon departure that all food is removed from fridge & freezer.
Trash is taken care of.
Appliances are all off.
Gather dirty linen and put it in the bathroom.
Double check for any personal belongings. If anything is left behind the item will be mailed to you and you will be charged shipping fees.

Quiet late fall visit with our dogs

Looked for somewhere close to SUNY Plattsburgh to come in to visit our student at college, mainly to bring her dogs to see her, took a chance on the Blueberry Cottage and wasn’t disappointed. The location on the lake was beautiful. Was a little chilly when we went so we couldn’t really enjoy the beach or firepit, but I bet in the summer it would be amazing.

We stayed at one of the units and did sailing trips around the area. The boat launch is literally next door, very convenient! On one of the rainy days we went to the movies, the town is close and convenient. The unit itself was cozy, clean and spacious. It can accommodate as many as 7 people, if needed. We loved it!

Quiet Beautiful Comfortable

My husband and I rented here to view the 2024 eclipse. We could not have found a more perfect place to have that exerience! The cabin is comfortable. Lovely lake cottage

Blueberry cottage was as advertised and a nice alternative to a standard hotel room. Lovely view of Lake Champlain and very quiet. However, you need to keep in mind that it’s a lake cottage and will be more rustic. Overall, we were very comfortable and would return again. One suggestion for improvement would be for the large hedges bordering the driveway entrance be trimmed back a bit. This would allow for seeing oncoming traffic more easily when leaving the property.

The shower/bath needs a safety bar. The mattress needs to be replaced...very painful for one's back.
