Surprise Retreat! Heated Pool and Hot Tub

Beautiful and relaxing home with lots of sunshine on the sparkling private heated pool (March - Oct) at this secluded retreat right in the heart of Surprise Arizona. Freshly updated in 2025 with new family room furniture. Walk to Trader Joe's, or Starbucks or one of many, many restaurants close by!

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath, is nicely appointed with the modern upgrades- granite counters, comfortable beds, flat screen TVs, Wifi, and privacy in the back yard as you swim or lounge by the pool. This house backs to a green belt for added peacefulness. Beds include 1 King, 1 queen, and 2 twins. There is a separate living room perfect for reading and relaxing. The kitchen is open to the dining and family room and includes stainless steel appliances, instant hot water, and all the dishes, pot, pans, etc. needed to cook at home.

The large master bedroom looks out to the pool and has vaulted ceilings. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and travertine tile throughout the home makes it cool and comfortable.

Your vacation in this home includes an outdoor grill and pool floats. Tennis racquets and pickleball paddles are included for visiting the Surprise Tennis and Racquet Complex just 5 minutes away on the Surprise Recreation Campus - also home of Spring Training for Major League Baseball's Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals. Hiking is just 15 minutes away at the White Tank Mountain Regional Park and Lake Pleasant is a 30 minute drive with fishing, boat rentals, jet skis, paddle boards, and Flyboarding for the most adventurous! And, of course, many golf courses are just minutes away.

Snowbirds and business travelers can all enjoy this home 10 minutes from Highway 303 and 15 min. to the 101 for easy access to central Phoenix.

Beautiful Surprise!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home which is located near many restaurants and shopping areas. This home is exceptionally clean and I appreciate that very much. It is a 3 bedroom home with a heated pool and hot tub. It is an excellent choice for families or couples.

Home is located in a great neighborhood and close to shopping. Owner was amazing. She was very responsive particularly when we had questions about the home. Pool and hot tub were great amenities. I would recommend if you need a place to stay in Surprise, AZ.

Christmas Family Getaway

Perfect house for a relaxing holiday. Honestly can’t complain about anything- the house was that nice. Had four of us but my parents came over during the day (their snowbird rental isn’t big enough for all of us) and there was plenty of room for all to hang. Backyard is wonderful, too. Pool and hot tub were enjoyed as was all the seating. Perfect for relaxing with a book. Already shared listing with others in my family

Great in Surprise

This was the nicest home we’ve rented. The pictures and description were excellent, but seeing it was above our expectations. The house is beautifully furnished and very clean. We had all the amenities we could need. The location was close to many restaurants and easy to access roads to further destinations The pool, new hot tub and fire pit were all enjoyable.. Sandy was easy to communicate with and helpful. Would love to stay again when in the area.

Great stay!

Our month's stay here was great! The house is bright, well-equipped and functional. Location is great for Spring training, Luke Air Force base, hiking and shopping. The heated pool was a nice bonus. We highly recommend this house and owner!

My wife and I just spent two weeks at this home. I will attest what all the other reviewers have already stated: This home has it all. It was clean, well maintained, in a quiet neighborhood. The outdoor space in back was just as the pictures depicted. We could have easily stayed a month or more if time would have allowed and would definitely be back. Sandy should be proud that she has offered such a great place to stay while visiting Arizona. No surprises! Just a very memorable vacation.

Quiet and relaxing

The streets of Surprise are golf cart friendly, but mostly we walked to wherever we wanted to go locally. There are many malls within walking distance, including Walmart being the closest. This house is well decorated with quality furniture and the kitchen is extremely functional. We had great nights of sleep and this may have been the quietest neighbourhood I've ever stayed overnight at. This owner adds some nice personal touches for her guests. I found her communication great [although there was nothing we needed to request] and fair in her dealings with me.

Beyond expectations

This home has everything you need for your vacation. We pretty much never left unless we needed food and Walmart is a golf cart ride away. If you are looking for a relaxing stay with great location this is your spot.

The home was perfect. In a nice/safe area, on a quiet street, but still close to anything you needed; shopping centers and multiple restaurants within one-half mile. House was immaculate, the pool was clean/heated, and the pool deck had been recently refinished. A perfect home away from home, and would definitely stay there again the next time I'm in the Phoenix region. Sandy was very responsive and personable in her communication. Highly recommend this home/renting from her if you're in the area!

Surprise Retreat #739409: Excellent place to stay, clean and well maintained.

Sandy has a terrific home for your visit, everything was as stated on the web site, perfect for two couples or a family with such a private pool and back yard. The location has everything close at hand including all the major big box stores, great restaurants and the Irish Wolf Hound for a pub night out. The house and yard were in perfect condition and all kitchen equipment was great . The area seemed very safe and most of the local services are new. Couldn't have been better - a true home from home.

We have stayed at many private rental properties but this was definitely the best! The house is a true home from home and has everything you need. The area is great, quiet but close to everything you need. Surprise is a good location to reach other destinations as well - we visited Las Vegas, Sedona and the Grand Canyon (definitely recommend the hike into the Canyon and visiting Sedona). A much needed rest after Vegas and the weather was perfect in February for our winter sun fix. Sandy was great to deal with and couldn't have been more helpful or responsive. Overall a definite 5 star recommendation - you can't go wrong with this house - we will be back!

Dealing with the owner was a real pleasure! She was so helpful and accommodating! The house is immaculate and so very comfortable! Everything was perfect! What we liked best was that our boys had separate rooms, which works out best for our family. We plan on staying there every time we go back to Phoenix!

Great location! Spotless home with hot tub, pool, barbeque and bicycles

Spent 4 days at this location while visiting my mother at a nearby retirement center. This property was immaculate! Interior was very comfortable and functional for the 4 of us staying there. We grilled on the barbecue twice and the kitchen had all the necessary utensils and even spices that we would have otherwise had to purchase. Nice coffee maker and filters,( again, no need to make that extra trip to the store ).Cozy patio for lounging and a nice hot tub that was well maintained. Did not get a chance to use the pool but it looked inviting and should be great for the warmer months. 5 out of 5 stars; surpassed our expectations. Property handbook was very well done and concise.

Clean and cozy home in Surprise

One of the best things about this home in Surprise, is there were no surprises! The house was clean and very nice. The pool and hot tub were exactly like the pictures. The neighborhood was quiet, yet had conveniences located within walking distance. The home was exactly what we had hoped it would be. I plan to stay there again.
