"clean room, central location"

"Very disappointed with our stay. The first room we were given appeared to be an old storage area that they stuffed a bed in. The staff were great and upgraded us to a larger room. The temperature was way too warm for sleeping and the thermostat seemed to have no impact. It took a good 10 minutes for water to come out warm from the taps. According to the valet parking online app, it takes 45 minutes to get your car but they do not tell you that when you park or in the ticket. As with many Fairmont hotels you pay a premium for history and beautiful common spaces but the rooms do not receive enough investment. Normally a great location, protests on Wellington close the streets near the hotel to traffic which can have an impact. The staff were wonderful. "

"Was okay, was cheaper than most of the downtown hotels but $50 for parking. Bathroom was tiny and all the floot tile was lifting. Small tv as well."

"Convient, that’s what this hotel offers but that’s about it. Room 473 is full of ants. They come from under the walls. The whole place is just barely surface clean - things are just dirty. We did notify staff but sadly after reading the review comments from earlier and seeing not much change, it leads me to believe that this property just doesn’t care too much. Being old and outdated is one thing but it doesn’t have to be dirty. "

"My husband and I had a fine stay here overall, but things certainly have room for improvement. The rooms and hallways are very outdated, the walls were very thin to the point where we could hear our neighbours clearly, and the hotel unfortunately smelled of sewage the last day we were there (both in room and in the common areas). I would not stay here again. "

"Great location! Had everything we wanted. Pool, restaurants, walkability to events. Room was spacious and clean, nice linens/ towels and a great view"
