Booker beware: this is a highly unpredictable property with volatile and confrontational manager, Jason. They seem out for short-term money without regard for long-term customer relationships.
We had a horrible experience with the manager, Jason who I’m sure will prove my point in a response to this review. We were downgraded from a cottage to a regular room without notice on arrival (no advance notice) due to their pre-planned maintenance. Since we didn’t enjoy the regular room, we checked out a day early. The front desk did not inform us that we would be charged for our entire 2-day stay in a room we had not booked, and according to Jason it is not their responsibility to make sure you’re aware of this. We were then told that any changes or cancellations must be done with 7 days notice, or no refund. I messaged Jason with my concern and received a completely unprofessional and confrontational reply telling me I was in the wrong for violating their cancellation policy even though I was not given the opportunity to exercise my right to the 7-day cancellation policy due to their lack of communication. Again, buyer beware. You won’t know what you get until you get there and are out hundreds of dollars.
