When you are not on the beach, take a dip in the community pool. Enjoy all that Ocean City has to offer from numerous restaurants, miniature golf courses, and beach shopping lining Coastal Hwy to family-friendly theme parks. Plan a day of fun at Splash Mountain Water Park located on 29th St or enjoy rides, games, and food stands on the boardwalk in downtown Ocean City. Tanger Outlets are only a few miles away on Rt 50 in West Ocean City for a fun day of shopping. Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. The house is in a great neighborhood — tucked back enough to feel quiet and private, but still close to everything. There were plenty of big bedrooms, and most of them had their own bathrooms, which made it super convenient for our family. The beds were comfortable, and the whole place had a nice, homey feel. We had a couple of problems with the combination to the door not working, but found the back door open so we were able to get in, turns out the batteries were dead. I would recommend changing these on a regular basis don't wait for them to be dead. The bedrooms were very nice and although not soundproof you could sleep with others enjoying the house. The only small criticism I would say is the cleaning staff could do a better job mopping the floors getting into the corner under furniture a little better. The kitchen was well-equipped so we were able to prepare all of our meals in at the house. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms stocked with everything we needed for our short stay. Stayed with a group of 13 (4 families in OC for a cheer competition). House was great for having 6 teenagers with us! Overall pretty clean, did have some broken glass from a lightbulb at top of stairs in hallway that we were able to see and clean up easily but could have gotten into someone's barefoot if we didn't notice. Jan 18, 2023 #### House needs maintenance attention The house was big and nice inside upon first arrival. It seemed to be clean enough. The hot water heater wasn't working more than it did work. The toilet in the upstairs master bedroom wouldn't flush. Maintenance was out for the toilet issue and unable to fix. All the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The kitchen needs to be restocked with pots and pans - the ones available looked to be 20 years old. Luckily, we were only there for a weekend and only needed to cook one meal in. Oct 6, 2023 #### Fannie this house is very much outdated, the outside of the house is beautiful the neighborhood is lovely they need a whole new kitchen. They need new bed were so uncomfortable, I will never ever stay again I’m very disappointed with my stay, blood stains on the comforters and sheets pillows stained. The appliances were so old and raggedy. The ice maker on refrigerator had mildew around it. A lot of the dishes were dirty. I reached out to maintenance because the doors didn’t lock. Aug 17, 2019 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location, listing accuracy Disliked: Communication #### No Hot Showers Here! House was beautiful and accommodating on everything except HOT showers. There were 13 adults in attendance for a wedding. Arrived Thursday evening to no hot water. Contacted the property manager Friday morning to get this resolved. At first, his idea worked but after two showers, the water turned back to cold even in the kitchen. A tech came out Saturday and we still didn't have hot water for the rest of the stay (checked out Monday). I contacted the local property manager Sunday evening with no response. Every day after I got home, I called Vacasa (property management company) to see what could be done for our inconvenience. After making 5 separate phone calls, I was issued a $400 refund. Mind you, our stay was 4 nights at $3400\. Vacasa felt a12% refund was adequate. I did not. The cleaning crew got paid $337 and yet for the HUGE inconvenience of not having hot water only warranted $63 more. Apparently there is an issue with the hot water system because when we arrived, a note was on the counter from the last renters. It stated how the kitchen could use some more towels, etc. The last thing it said was "Reliable Hot Water" so obviously this was issue that was unresolved after their stay. The local property manager emailed me after my call with Vacasa about my stay. I emailed him the next day a page and a half letter explaining what happened. I have yet to get a response from him. So my advice is you can take a chance on this home and you decide if the loveliness of the home outweighs the fact that there could be no hot water for everyone to take showers after a hot summer's day. ##### Kim M.
