The host never communicated regarding entry to property even with numerous attempts by me to connect. Expedia was nonresponsive. It had all the basic essentials that I needed, except for the clothes dryer that was listed in the amenities, which I really could've used. I found it a little uncomforting that the 2nd bedroom was locked and inaccessible, I was unaware of that before booking. Being a single woman, it just made me feel a little uneasy not knowing exactly what is behind those doors..probably is nothing but still uncomfortable. There is no air conditioning and so, the windows must be opened for air circulation. There are screaming children, barking dogs and loud adults who drink some evenings in the neighborhood. Otherwise, the cost was a savings compared to staying in a better hotel. There is no off street parking and no laundry facilities. The walk to Lake Merritt is half a mile.
