Nice enough hotel, convenient location from the M1. Close to a nice country park. Gym is pretty well equipped. Staff were all friendly and helpful, especially the guy in the gym. My only gripes are that the room smelled of smoke - probably people smoking on the balcony with the door open. The decor is a bit tired. I was charged £3 for a like and soda which felt a bit steep for a pint of squash.

Nice hotel, pleasant staff and comfortable.

Greeted by staff on reception, check in was easy and the room had everything I needed. Comfortable and clean, surrounding area was good and tidy. At breakfast greeted by a lovely staff member (female) who ensure my needs were met, very helpful. Overall my stay was very good.

It was fairly clean but not to a high standard. There were a group of men stood outside the entrance at around 1030pm smoking and drinking which meant I had to navigate past them trying not to breathe the smoke and vapes, or cause them to direct their drunken attention at me.
