This place is all that you can want for a stay at the farm with animals. The solarium and pool is so beautiful and peaceful. Looking at the stars in the sky from the porch is a perfect Maine evening. An unbelievable place with friendly and responsive owners.
Beautiful property. Unit 3 is lovely, well-furnished, spacious, everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable. We didn't use the pool but it looked very inviting. We met Norma and Noah. Very nice people!
very nice people
This country home is charming complete with sheep, a goat and some chickens. We saw a large flock of turkeys in the big field beside the house. The small pool was very warm with jets which was a nice way to end a busy day of hiking. It was an easy 40 min drive into Portland for a day of touring and then back again to fly home.
The property is breath taking, our suite #3 was very comfortable with everything we needed. Exceptionally clean, and we were made to feel very welcome by Norma who greeted us, and also bid us farewell. If you stay here, you will have a peaceful stay that is still within driving to local attractions and the coast. The restaurant nearby, The Marriland Farm was also exceptional with service and food, we brought our dog with us and they were so good to him as well. The sheep at the in are adorable. Thank you, Norma and your sons, for creating such a gem. We will hopefully be able to return again. Highly recommended!!!
The accommodations are in an older farm house, so may not be for those accustomed to newer accommodations. We found our guest room to be clean and comfortable. Beautiful, pastoral, quiet / private location. We enjoyed visiting the sheep and goats located in pens near the farm house and feeding them some treats. While the location is somewhat remote (long driveway), this adds to the charm and once one gets to the nearby Route 9, it is a relatively short and easy drive to area stores, attractions and conveniences. It was perfect fit for us for a weekend stay with family as we needed a little extra space beyond what our host could offer. Overall lovely place and positive experience.
Our stay was unusual but no less memorable. It was brief, only a few hours on a rainy day as our nearby home had some work done. Our host was very understanding of our situation and provided us with a lovely suite in the upstairs of the perfectly restored farmhouse. Bedroom, sitting room, kitchenette and bathroom. We enjoyed an afternoon of naps and watching an old sitcom on tv. Bella, our senior dog realized it was very pet friendly and slept the entire time we were there. I'm looking forward to staying again in the sunshine so I can enjoy the animals and walking the enormous property. I would definitely recommend this beautiful and very well equipped property. .!!.the animals andperfect
The entire property was absolutely STUNNING. A quiet, CLEAN, and well equipped location!
The owners were absolutely wonderful, and take amazing care of this property! HUGE bonus in getting to meet COOPER (a SUPER friendly doggo!) Vincent Van Goat and all the sheep!
20/10 for cleanliness: could not find a single thing to knock, the unit was SPOTLESS!!!
20/10 for comfort: the rustic looks, combined with up to date and modern amenities such as modern smart TV, touch screen thermostat controls, and an air system that worked FANTASTIC, made for an extremely comfortable stay!
20/10 for views: waking up to look out the window with a view of rolling fog on the hay fields, American Flag swaying in the breeze over to the tree line was STUNNING. The Maine fresh air, paired with a nice breeze made for a great morning on the rocking chairs enjoying a coffee!
Overall: a hidden gem!!! Lovey owners, clean amenities and amazing views lead to a fantastic get away. We thank the owners for the perfect stay, and look forward to coming back again!!!
Amazing farmhouse away from the hustle and bustle of crowded Ogunquit! Extremely peaceful and quiet in a farm environment with sheep and chickens. Ms. Norma is such down to earth owner, who proudly displays a fantastic country setting. Everything was perfect; so if you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay just minutes away from the coast, this is it!

Beautiful farm house, very well maintained!
Not too far from the beach (30 min drive).
The only thing is that the rooms are not soundproofed, so you can hear other visitors talking.
Other than that, it’s pretty nice! :)
We enjoyed our stay in this vintage farmhouse immensely. Well off the highway, nestled in the trees, with a massive field as its lawn. Felt like we were further away from the touristy hustle and bustle of Ogunquit and Wells than we actually were. The property itself has lots of fun things to explore including the family cemetery of the original owners, stargazing in the field at night and of course the darling sheep. Property owner Norma was a great host and easy to communicate with. Hope we’ll be back!
