Around the Area: We are less than a mile from Brookshire Brother's grocery store & gas/convenience stores, bars, restaurants and one of the best public beaches on Canyon Lake. The Canyon Lake Marina is only 2 miles away & has boat and jet ski rentals, a restaurant and bar, fishing guides, etc. If you want to float the Guadalupe River, it's only 6 miles away. We are happy to recommend specific outfitters for your personal preferences. There are multiple boat ramps within 5 miles and plenty of room to bring and park your boat in the driveway. For mountain biking and hiking enthusiasts, the Madrone mountain biking and hiking trails are 2 miles away. Other popular destinations include Wimberley (8.4mi), San Antonio (35), New Braunfels (22mi), San Marcos (16mi), Austin (37mi), and Fredericksburg (46mi) to name a few.
