What really stood out, though, was the location. It’s centrally located, so everything from restaurants and shops to the beach and nightlife was easily accessible. Communications were perfect, 10/10...They did offer for maintenance to come and replace batteries, I just wasn't in the unit enough to wait for them. There was water damage on the wall. The paint in several areas of the bathroom was peeling. The window in the bathroom was dirty and did not completely close. I’m a handicap person I read on the add that they had an elevator, nowhere did it say the only access was stairs into the building.. I have a dialysis machine that weights over 100 odd and I’m a fall risk .. I booked this place not knowing there was no access 45 mins. Here checking in .. I get there I can’t get in I call immediately and they ask for proof that I need a machine and that I’m handicapped.. I sent them my doctors notes as well as a picture of my machine . They denied me for a refund saying I needed to cancel 7 days before I’m like I just booked 45 mins ago , I can’t get in .. no compassion . My hubby went and checked out the property it smells like mold, everything is dirty and run down .. they called me back said it’s my fault and they are charging me the full week plus the cleaning fee even tho I didn’t even use the room !
