Hotellet er absolut ikke luksuriøst og en smule slidt, men meget hygggeligt, og atmosfæren er ganske speciel: Meget engelsk og meget afslappet. Det ligger meget centralt, og der er kort afstand til offentlige transportmidler. Værelserne er noget uensartede, men hyggelige, og badeværelserne er meget små, men funktionelle, og det opvejes rigeligt af resten. Morgenbuffeten er rigtig god, og personalet meget hjælpsomt og venligt. Vi har efterhånden boet på Arran House Hotel en del gange og er endnu aldrig nogensinde blevet skuffede. Même en payant 150£ pour 2 nuits, le réceptionniste ne se lève même pas, il me montre le tableau des clefs et me dit de prendre la 12\. Under 10 min å gå til østlige del av Oxford-street shopping. Litt slitt og gammelt. Toalettet/dusj på rommet var en liten "modul" satt inn i et hjørne, og var veldig plæstic og litt gammelt, men det funka. Internett-tilgang over hele, men som forventet er det litt ustabilt og tregt. Ikke tenk på å kunne streame video over nettet, for å si det på den måten. Booked in at about 3:30pm nice and easy. Clean room, small shower area with wc and tiny basin. Tea making and coffee available. tv wifi and phone. Open to return when wanted with night access. plenty availablwchoice at breakfast. Good value for money in central London. Den ene i et rom uten vindu og den andre i rommet innenfor med rom ut til en liten "luftegår". Lå ved siden av kjøkkenet og våknet til skrammelet fra frokostlagingen. Men frokosten var god og det var en trivelig atmosfære. Ligger sentralt til. Mulig rommene i de andre etasjene var noe bedre. Lievel virket det nytt og det var ganske rent. Vi sov godt og det var stille og rolig. Det var vi nødt til at acceptere. Det nye hotel lå længere fra centrum end Arran house. Det nye hotel var acceptabelt, men heller ikke mere.Jeg forventer at værelset virkelig er klar til mig, når jeg har fået en bekræftet reservation. Jeg ønsker at blive kontaktet hvis reservationen ikke holder og tilbudt alternativer. Derfor overvej på forhånd evt. alternative hoteller, så det er dig som har initiativet. Få vist på et kort hvor det tilbudte hotel ligger. Heating was either max or off so it got a bit hot even in January. Room wasnt towards Gower street so there was no noise. Shared bathrooms were clean, breakfast was ok. Wifi had a good signal but still didnt work that well. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Zimmer riesig, mit super bequemen Betten. Es liegt etwas abgelegen, ist daher auch sehr ruhig. Zum Zentrum von Scarborough läuft man ungefähr 10 bis 15 Minuten. Der einzige Mangel wäre, dass das Hotel eher etwas älter ist und über keinen Lift verfügt. Well managed. Room cleaned and refreshed every day to a good standard. Breakfast had good choice of foods and drinks.Location was fairly convenient for Covent Garden, Brit museum , Trafalgar Square etc. I walked to all these places. Some neat shops around too. 'ensuite' room is disgusting and dirty. bathroom is horrid and smells. As soon as you open the door, the bed is right there and it's a squeeze to get past the bed and the desk to the vanity and the wardrobe. But if like me, you just wanted a clean, comfortable place to sleep and shower before heading out to enjoy your London stay, it's quite satisfactory. Extra points for the staff who are very nice and helpful, and the free full hot breakfast buffet every morning which the kitchen managed to keep stocked even in the busiest breakfast rushes. As for location, it can't really be beat. I could easily walk to the British Museum, Leicester Square and all the West End theaters, Picadilly, Soho, Covent Garden, Westminster. Tube stations, bus stops, and an abundance of restaurant choices in Fitzrovia were also short walks away. I would stay here again. ##### Sofia
