    Hattery Hill is a private retreat with 7 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, comfortably sleeping up to 18 guests. Relax by the pool, hot tub, or fire pit, and explore 80 scenic acres with walking trails, a creek, and open green space. Enjoy a large chef’s kitchen with a 6-burner stove and 3 ovens, spacious gathering areas, a media room, and a convenient first-floor bedroom. Located near downtown Ligonier, Idlewild and SoakZone, and popular ski resorts.

    THE HOUSE

    **First Floor**

    - Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare large family meals, including a 6-burner stove

    - Large dining room with plenty of space for seating

    - Breezeway area with an extra refrigerator, 2 additional ovens, and a washer & dryer for guest use

    - Full bathroom with shower, modern fixtures, and complimentary shampoo & conditioner

    - Cozy media room with a sectional, bar-height seating behind the sofa, and a large TV with adaptor access to your favorite streaming services

    - Main level bedroom with king bed, including an en suite bathroom and shower with complimentary shampoo & conditioner



    Guest Access:

    Guests will have private access to the entire home. A code for the door keypad will be provided before check-in.



    A 2-hour early check-in or late check-out may be available for a $50 fee, but it cannot be guaranteed in advance. Early check-in can only be confirmed by 10:00 AM on the morning of arrival. Late check-out must be requested the evening before the departure date. This is because the home may need to be cleaned and turned over after previous guests or before our next guests, and we want to make sure the property is fully ready and comfortable for everyone visiting.

Perfect end of summer getaway

We had 9 kids and 6 adults and truly had the best time! The house has lots of space to spread out and we all enjoyed swimming, hiking on the trails, and playing wiffle ball in the large field. And Ligonier is a short drive and a super cute town with a fantastic creamery!

President's day weekend

We had a great time for our long weekend. Plenty of space to relax for the nine of us. The house was very clean. Foodies may want to contact the host prior for details about kitchen supplies. The grounds had lots of acreage to explore.

Great Place for Big Families!

This place has everything for a terrific stay. A lot of room to spread out and nice renovations on an older home. We enjoyed exploring the 80 acre property with our dogs. The neighborhood is very quiet. A few in our group enjoyed the hot tub. Wifi is fast and TVshave cable Seven springs is about 30 minutes away.

Family Ski Trip

Wonderful location. Easy drive to town and to 3 ski mountains. Just what we were looking for. If coming in the winter make sure you are comfortable driving on snow covered roads and have a vehicle that can handle the conditions.

We were blown away by the immaculate property. We loved every second there, and wanted to stay longer! The hot tub was excellent, and sadly we didn't use the firepit, but it was also well maintained and fun. We had enough beds for everyone!

Beautiful property!

Perfect spot for our summer family reunion ... half from the East coast, the rest from Ohio. We enjoyed swimming (yes, the pool water was cold but super refreshing on hot days), fire pit, spacious kitchen for cooking, breezeway with extra ovens and refrigerator. The big living room was fun for family games and just hanging out. Gorgeous views, loved the sound of the stream nearby. "Trail" goes up to a meadow, but looked like it had not been mowed, so will say with other reviewers that the trail access was not obvious. Comfortable beds, plenty of bathroom space for our group. Bonus for us was the king suite on main level, so our Gran did not have to climb the stairs.

Perfect wedding party weekend homebase

Family wedding at nearby Green Gables, this was the perfect homebase for a dozen or so of family and bridal party prep. Pool and hot tub, firepits, grill, etc were in good order and we took full advantage between events. Fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms are large and convenient, common living room areas are huge and offer tons of seating and relaxing space. Bedrooms are plentiful and spacious. The access drive from the main state routes is rural, well kept and accessible for typical vehicles and the property offers lots of farmland walks and views including creekside and bridges over a small creek. Highly recommend for similar sized group stays!

This Place Has It All

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The house is very spacious and the surrounding serene property was lovely and so much fun to explore. The house is well stocked. The owners are nice enough to provide linens, towels, nice grill, pool toys, kitchen items, etc. We especially loved the extra fridge and two extra ovens in the breezeway area. It makes hosting large groups so easy. The kids had a blast in the pool. It was fun to gather around the fire pit at night while the kids hung out in the hot tub or relax on the front porch in the rocking chairs in the morning. The owners were so attentive to our needs. We couldn't ask for anything more. We will be back next year!

Great Stay

the house was really nice. We had 8 adults and 8 kids stay with room for all of us. The extra ovens in the pantry/laundry area made cooking for that large a group really easy. Extra fridge for drinks was great too. I recommend some mixing bowls if needed in your meal plans or you need to use one of the pots there. The pool was chilly but the owners were quick to help us make it warmer. The field was great for silly games and sports. We might bring a cart to take down some heavier things next time. Would recommend for a friends and family trip where you just want to hang out together and relax. Looking to book again!

Perfect spot for a long getaway weekend with a large group

We selected this home for our annual Fall wekend trip with friends, and the place was delightful. Despite the number of our party gathering and prepping in the kitchen, they never was “ too many cooks in the kitchen”. Lots of good space, and the extra refrigerator was a game changer. The rooms were good sized, and the number of bathrooms was at last adequate for the size of our 16 member group. The grounds were lovely, the fire pit was a perfect gathering spot, but extra interior living space provided locations for more quiet activities. The driveway is a little dicey for multiple vehicles, but we figured it out. Ligonier is a darling town. Location was good for visits to Fallingwater, and the Flight 93 National Park, and many other activities that we just didn’t have time for. Hope to be back!

A great space for a family getaway

My family of 4, plus my parents and brother spent a weekend at the house and really enjoyed ourselves. The property is enormous and the kids enjoyed playing hide and seek in the many rooms. The kitchen is expansive and there's plenty of room for lots of cooks to all be doing their own projects. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire ring at night. The parking is a little tricky if you have more than a couple vehicles. There's a gravel loop to turn your car around but it's a little steep. If you only have 2 cars, it wouldn't be an issue at all. We had additional family arrive for dinner and getting everyone in and out required a little shuffling around, but ultimately that's a small issue. We would happily return again, maybe this summer when the pool is open!

Family Vacation

The house was in good condition and clean upon arrival. The pool was on the colder side. Not sure if the heater was actually working but when it was sunny it was warm enough to swim. There really aren't any walkable trails that we found. I feel like that was false advertisement. We explored all around and everything was a dead end and no trails. The communication with the host was terrible. I sent multiple messages and never heard back once. The owners did call and tell us where flashlights and access to the basement was during a possible tornado warning but other than that the host didn’t answer any questions we asked prior to arrival. A welcome book with some information about property, walkable trails and any other pertinent information would have been nice. Instead there we’re handwritten notes stuck to the fridge with a few instructions for check out. Overall the property is worth the stay for a few days of relaxation and quiet.
