GETTING AROUND It's just a block to the Strip, so you will get to the action in no time. If you're driving here, valet parking is free, and there are plenty of free outside parking spaces, including a 6 story parking deck behind the property on Aubrey Lane. Got there 14 minutes before check in time and was told our room wasn’t ready by dead eyed Dannie. We knew that was a lie, because we were told the night before the room would be ready by noon. Old dead eyed Dannie didn’t care and told us we would have to wait til 3pm. So because of dead eyed Dannie, we did not spend a penny of the 1958 we spent that weekend at the MGM Grand. We chose to eat, drink and gamble elsewhere. The only friendly people were the security guards, who smiled and welcomed us back each time. The unit was nice but noisy. The mattress needs to be changed as it wasn’t comfortable, very lumpy. There is no communication with the actual owner of the unit. So we were left to deal with dead eyed Dannie… ##### ed and gail m.
