Dining room table seats 10 people very comfortably and we have had 14 or more people without too many elbows being bumped. There is 1.5 bathrooms, sorry, a shower but no tub (although there is a lake…), washer and dryer in the basement washroom. It is on a well, so the water is very drinkable without having to worry about boiling. It is a four season place, so it is open in the winter too if you want to rent it later in the year. The price is 2,000$/week, but please give me a call and we can discuss winter rates. I am asking for a 500$ returnable damage/cleaning deposit. You will get that back as long as there is no damage, undue cleaning required or noise violations/fines. Of course there are others on the lake so I ask that you consider my neighbours and not create a nuisance after hours. I also want to keep the place smoke free, there is a walk out area that is covered so smokers will not suffer too much even in the rain... Xmas/ New Years and Thanksgiving I will likely have special rates, and by special I mean higher. There may be a few extras as well, like firewood will be 10$ a bundle for bonfires. What else can I say for now, there is space to set up a badminton net, and horse shoes or petanque if you prefer (have to bring your own balls or shoes), and a good size area for parking if required. I added bocci balls and crocket sets this year. The municipality has a new bylaw that prohibits you using your own boats. I expect that will be the same anywhere in Quebec, if not now then soon. They do this to protect the quality of the lakes from invasive species. For the winter, a little bit of a hill for tobogganing if you like. The lake does freeze over late in the season for snowshoeing and X-country skiing. Nice quiet location. Satellite TV, free wifi. Recently added a Hot Tub, for which there will be an extra 200$/stay usage fee.. Property is registered with both the municipality and CITQ, and has been inspected by police and fire department as part of that process so you know its safe. I even have an AED available on site, and recently, 2025, added epipens to my first aid supplies! I do not provide linens although I have some available if you are traveling long distances etc. We can discuss. I mention this here because there has been recent confusion with the website. Fantastic fully equipped kitchen, screened in deck overlooking the lake with a bbq, and a hot tub outside overlooking the lake. Surprisingly we had no mosquitoes which meant sitting outside til dark was doable and pleasant. The pictures are accurate with the exception of the kitchen being way better than expected and the space being very large for a cottage. The communication from Donald was excellent. He replied quickly to all inquiries. Accessing the cottage was easy. He provided thorough directions (pictures and words) to aid you with getting there. The directions to get into the cottage were very clear. The inside of the cottage had anything that you would need. The kitchen was fully stocked (pots, pans, coffee maker, microwave, two fridges, pizza trays, salad spinner etc), with a ton of dishes to last three meals for 6 people. The kitchen table was amazing. It can seat a lot of people for eating, card playing, games etc. The beds were comfortable with many rooms for guests to spread out. The screen in porch had a nice view of the lake and was a bonus for BBQing, playing cards, having happy hour and not getting eaten alive by the mosquitoes and watching the rain storms!! There was plenty of grass space to play games (Bocci, Corn Hole (we brought our own) and for the dog to run around. Access to the water was easy. The dock is long and gives plenty of room to attach floating tubes for reading and lounging, two kayaks, paddle boat and water mat, that the children loved. Donald was a great host and took us through all of the process at the beginning of our stay. He was flexible and courteous. None in bedrooms. These kept tripping the power every 10 minutes whenever we tried to use them, so we had to rely on opening windows for airflow. It was very hot inside, and we could not get a comfortable night’s sleep. The kids were crying through the night because of the heat.Second, safety concerns: Basement had kids unfriendly and dangerous tools that were easily accessible, only covered with thin plastic divider, wet basement slippery for small children, rat traps dangerous to kids if they accidentally touch them, seeds inside tablet box easily accessible to kids. This was not child-proofed at all, and the listing never mentioned that the space would be unsafe for children. Sep 6, 2022 Liked: Check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### a week in august Overall I would give 3.5 for this property. The place could use more cleaning and decluttering. However the host was very nice and accommodating for anything we needed. He helped us bring in our stuff. The gazebo off the kitchen is certainly a big plus, we were able to eat and hang out there even when in rainy days and we still had a nice view of the lake. There are tons of movies to watch and even a satellite dish was available downstairs. It was very quiet place to relax and reflect on. Aug 9, 2020 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Was a perfect quick get away stay Stayed here with my daughter and brother with his family and some of the kid's friends. A 2 night 3 day stay was just perfect and more than met our needs. Cottage is big and roomy, kitchen area was huge and fully equipped! Large screened in BBQ area was awesome. Kids stayed mainly on the lower level which is a large space, had bedrooms, couches and big screen tv, pool table, it's own bathroom and quick access to the large yard which slopes down to the lake. Perfect for them and us as the adults stayed upstairs and the kids were out of the way. Met Donald at the Tim Horton's and he guided us up to the cottage. Very nice person, showed us the grounds and answered all of our questions. Overall we had a great stay. Only one issue is that this end of the lake is very shallow, sandy and muddy. Entire bay is 1-4 feet max which was not great for swimming. Could not jump off the dock without getting stuck in the mud. Deep water doesn't start till you are outside of the bay heading towards the main lake. However, the bay is a great place to kayak which we did lot of and looks serene from the cottage. Jul 2, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Pleine nature Donald est une personne accueillante, il aide ces clients de les orienter, il répond au question donc bonne information, le chalet est tres vaste bordé de nature, inconvénient pas de réseau sans fil mais le Wi-Fi est bon, les moustiquaire de la galerie a réparer plein de trous les moustiques rentre (pas étanche) je lui suggère fortement de réparer les moustiquaires, et si il ajoute un ou deux kayak fera toute une déficience, en grand on a passé un séjours confortable même qu'on a que des jours de pluie dans la plupart du temps mais on est bien occupés a l'intérieur merci donald ##### Bennacer M.
