While the front desk person was nice and friendly, however, appeared to be completely stoned at the time of my arrival - around 5:30 PM. After a long day, I completed the check in and before going to my room, inquired about the Wifi. The front desk person said, "It's still broken." To which I asked, "You don't have Wifi at all?", and they confirmed it. This was a deal breaker for me entirely, aside from the large fat woman who was walking in with her giant Pit Bull nonetheless, and the old scary looking dude outside the front entrance smoking. There are children's toys scattered around the property. 6 bags were left for breakfast containing water, granola bar and frozen sandwich. Not the hot breakfast that was portrayed online. I drove up to the property to find police officers and a large group of people outside due to a safety concern. There were broken-down vehicles and drug addicts all over the property. There were kids toys all over the lawn from families that were living on the property. Music was blasting from vehicles. Very ghetto & unsafe. I walked into the lobby, around a police-taped off from entrance, and immediately asked to cancel my reservation. Of course, no refund..... Complete nightmare but would rather lose the money than have my vehicle broken into or get jumped. A lot was broken n messed up! Couldn’t open sliding door to easily access my car; the curtains couldn’t move cause someone broke the pull handle; n heater/cooler was hard to get set comfortably; not to mention all the scraps n chips others have left. Other than that the room was clean and staff excellent! Needed help with the zipper on my dress for my son’s wedding and they were happy to help in and out of it since my other half couldn’t get time off! Decent for the little money I had to make the reservation! The outside was strewn with garbage in the parking lot and personal belongings covered the grassy areas. 2 guys smoking and sitting in camp chairs greeted me as I walked under the covered entrance way. The counter girl was rude after I pointed out the conditions outdoors. She then informed me about the second floor usage. As I was leaving 2 car loads of homeless from the streets of Jamestown/Falconer NY were dropped off with their belongings. I regret staying here & never will again. It appears to be Section 8 Housing. It’s dirty, floors are sticky, smells like weed, rather unsavory looking people staring at me and my daughter, as we unpacked our car. A shirtless guy blocking the doorway as my daughter was trying to take her things out to the car the next morning, watching her the whole time. There is what looks to be construction materials in the grassy area across from the main entrance, bikes everywhere, some of them are chained to light poles and others are just laying there. There’s rat traps around the first floor, and there are weeds growing out of the gutters. Wallpaper is peeling. The outlets in the room did not work and one of them sparked when I tried to charge my phone. Your choice for breakfast is waffles or waffles. There was no regular coffee only decaf so I had to drive to Tim Hortons to get a cup of coffee at 7 AM. The desk clerks were more often found outside smoking & hanging out with some guy. I hate giving such a bad review. Times are tough and we are all struggling in one way or another. But knowledge is power and if you choose to stay here, you will at least know what you are getting yourself into. But my recommendation is don’t waste your time or your money. We were put in a smoking room despite a reservation for nonsmoking. I asked to switch but nothing else was available. The room smelled terrible. The good: The bed was comfortable and the sheets clean. Otherwise the property was run down. The room was reasonably clean, but the common areas were dirty. Very poor breakfast.
