Take a trip back in time to Turtle Crawl, before high rises and congested beaches. You may even witness baby sea turtles boil from their nests and crawl for the ocean. Come fall in love with Turtle Crawl in Fort Morgan Beach and take your custom koozies home with you as a momento of your vacation!
Enjoy the sunset from your private pool deck or stroll on a quiet beach. As the moon rises over the gulf, steaks sizzling on the grill, shrimp steaming in a pot and the blender cranking in the background, time truly evaporates and takes the stress of daily life with it.
We have made some major improvements to our beach house as always. We installed all new cabinetry plus granite counter tops in the kitchen with a new sink and faucet. We also have all new appliances including a built-in ice maker and beverage fridge. We have all new flooring throughout. The hall bath has a new vanity, granite top and mirror. We doubled the size of the master bath and it now has a double vanity and granite top as well as a larger shower with glass doors. We also have a Teak dining set on the pool deck so you may relax with your drinks and snacks or lunch by the pool. The hot/cold water outdoor shower is what we have wanted to build since we bought our house and we finally did it! It's so fun to have.
If you don’t care to cook, just a few miles west is casual dining at Tacky Jack's; great seafood and options for the kids. The view of the sunset from their deck is unbeatable. If you'd like something closer, less than a mile east is a fun restaurant and bar, Sassy Bass (next to their pizza shop/grocery/liquor store). Formal dining at Kiva Dunes is a short drive away, as is the informal at The Beach Club Sports Bar (5 miles) or Behind the Pines Restaurant and Bar (5.5 miles). Of course, you can head to Gulf Shores for Outlet shopping, Mini Golf, OWA Amusement Park, the Zoo or the action of day or night.
Turtle Crawl is a perfect fly-in vacation or easy drive from Hwy 10. Jack Edwards National Airport (Gulf Shores Regional Airport KJKA) can accommodate from Cessna to Jet-sized aircraft. Gulf Air Center FBO is also a pick up/drop point for Enterprise Car leasing (Foley AL).

The property overall was amazing! Clean and comfortable. The pool was so nice to have on hot days, early mornings and evenings when we lounged around the house. Very roomy for 7 adults. We loved the pool and the easy access to the ocean. The location was wonderful just 15-20 minutes away from Gulf Shores. The only complaint was a few of the mattresses should be replaced.

The house is clean, great quiet neighborhood and a minute walk to the beach! It has everything you would ever need in the kitchen and the beds are comfy. The pool got used every day, multiple times a day. We had a maintenance issue at one point that was no fault of the owners and they took care of it immediately! It was a great home away from home for the week and we would definitely stay there again!

Turtle Crawl was absolutely perfect for all of our wants and needs. The pool was warm and inviting. The beds slept wonderfully. The kitchen is well equipped (more so than most places we have stayed). The weather was great for most of the days we stayed. I would highly recommend Turtle Crawl!! It was a fantastic stay!!

This was our second time at Turtle Crawl and it is truly an amazing experience. The house is wonderful and has everything your family could ask for(games, movies, cooking, pool, etc.). We always come back to the Fort Morgan area every summer and this house was at the top of our list. It had everything we needed since we flew in and couldn't bring much and the pool was the best part! We spent our days lounging by the pool and having the ocean waves in the background. Any stores or entertainment were nearby and then we would retreat to our relaxing place. Would definitely recommend staying here!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the pool. Loved the layout of house with the best themed wall decor ever!! Super nice owners. We were an older bunch and thought lower dining table and chairs would have been better for us. Also maybe a couple of small ottomans for putting feet up in living room. Good outside lighting. Fantastic cooking supplies. Great beach access.

We had a great time here. The house is in a sparsely populated area near the beach which makes for an easy 2 minute walk across the street to the beach. House was great. Pool was great. (A little cold in March with no heater, but warm enough for most of us!) Only tough part was distance from downtown Gulf Shores (it’s a 25 minute drive one way) but that’s also what gets you the peace and quiet . . . so no complaints there either from us. Great place!

Turtle Crawl provided plently of room for 6 adults and a 2 yr old. House was clean and the owners were a dream to work with. We particularly loved the short walk to the beach since that's where we spent most of our waking time! Beach was clean and uncrowded with fine, white sand and sea shells to hunt for. We swam in the ocean everyday! The outdoor shower made cleanup a breeze. We did lots of cooking together in the well stocked kitchen, and loved eating on the front porch, which has great views. Amazing memories!

The place itself is just like what is pictured. Our family LOVED having the pool to ourselves and we went to the never crowded beach many times, even in the same day, since it was just a short walk across the road. There were plenty of dishes and food staples even at the end of the season. We never saw any sea turtles but we did see plenty of fish and a crab at the beach. Communication with Laura and Chip was fantastic and they were very willing to give suggestions and "local" information to us.
