"Location was great and close to everything. Kinda disappointing that there’s no other option but to valet park. Checking in was easy. When we got to our room a pillow case had not been changed out. It was full of make-up. We called down and it took a while but they came and replaced it. Room was spacious. Shower is not fully enclosed so water can get all over the floor if you’re not careful. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet was awesome, and well worth the money. Very easy to do uber, lyft, etc. The pool area needs some serious help/attention. There were no pool towels available. And no hotel staff came by the entire time we were out there to refill. A lot of seating but no cushions were set out except for the lounge chairs. There’s a whole bar area, but it was closed. The entire flooring is tiled but, there's a lot of them that are uneven so you need to be careful walking around. Also theres a section of tile on the edge of the pool that is broken. So be cautious with young children. Overall not bad but I won’t choose to stay here again."

"Hotel Mazarin is a NOLA gem inside of the French Quarter. It was resonably priced, even for the Jazz Fest 2nd weekend. The location is perfect for walking to everywhere; one street off of Bourbon and only a few blocks from Jackson Square or Canal Street. There are so many shopping venues, bars and restauarants all within walking distance. The hotel has a lovely inside courtyard where you can relax, meet with friends or pop in to the wine bar for a quick drink. Even though this is an older hotel, the rooms were nicely updated with spacious bathrooms and comfortable beds. It has a work out room that is functional. There is no onsite parking so valet is a must. It was only a few blocks to the buses and cable cars, so no need to have the car out for anything during the stay. This was the perfect hotel for an authentic NOLA weekend, and we would defintiely stay again. "

"The hotel was in a perfect location and within walking distance of everything in the French Quarter. The hotel was clean and the staff were amazing and friendly. The only complaint is there is absolutely no water pressure in the rooms. I understand wanting to preserve water, but you waste more because it takes 4x as long to take a shower with zero water pressure."

"This hotel charged $300 smoking fee for using flat irons and straightening comb. I spoke to the manager and they agreed to refund my card but it would take 7-10 days and it still hasnt been refunded. Also they charge an additional $25 per day tourism fee. The location is really good to be walking distance from attractions. Also my hotel room did not have a fridge nor microwave. "
