Sweet Escape- Hot Tub, Pool Table & Fire Pit Table in the Galena Territory

Beautiful 6 bedroom, 5.5 bath home with a screened-in hot tub, pool table & fire pit table in the gorgeous Galena Territory with a total of 4000 square feet of living space. This home is perfect for enjoying Galena with your friends and family. The home boasts 4 en suite bedrooms, 3 king beds, 3 queen beds and a twin bed (master on main level, 3 bedrooms upstairs, and 2 bedrooms on lower level). Bedrooms have a 32" smart TV. The large kitchen has 3 island bar stools and a table that seats 6. The dining room seats 8. There are 2 refrigerators. There is a deck and screened-in​ porch, a living room with flat-screen Smart TV on the main level and family room on the lower level with a 65" flat-screen Smart TV & DVD player. We have complimentary high-speed fiber internet, perfect for streaming any of your subscriptions.

Rental includes 10 passes to the Galena Territory Association amenities which offer indoor and outdoor swimming, basketball, tennis, fitness center, fishing, boating, over 24 miles of trails and a game room. Sweet Escape is located 11 miles from downtown Galena and 13 miles from Chestnut Mountain.

Due to severe allergies in our family, we cannot host service animals or support animals of any kind.

Great family experience

Place for all 10 of us to play games together. Also provides a space for the teenagers to hang out together in the basement. Has everything one needs in the kitchen. All the things to do at the clubhouse ten minutes away is a big plus for the kids 9-22 in the family.

Family get together

The only concern we had were the showers. The floors were very slippery and almost dangerous. There were some no slip strips but they did not cover enough of the surface. Overall we loved the building and the spaciousness. Even with so many people it never felt like there was a crowding of spaces. We loved it!

Lots of rules

This property is nice but there are a lot of rules and kinda ridiculous ones too. You can only use up to 8 trash bags but they only give you six. The toilet is the Scott very cheap paper. The layout on the main floor is very odd but the downstairs is very nice. The kids loves which is the main reason we go

Perfect for Family Holiday

Our extended family of 11 stayed here in December and the place was perfect! Even though the weather outside was frightful, there was so much right on site to keep everyone entertained. We especially enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, fire place, and big dining room table for family games. It was also great to use the pool and game room at the club house. The beds were all very comfortable and well-arranged in the house so that families could claim some private space and still hang out together in the shared areas. All around a wonderful place for our family to celebrate the holidays!

Thanksgiving Holiday

Overall the house was large and there was plenty of room for our large family. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to prepare a large Thanksgiving meal. Everything was clean, except for the floors. They were very dirty and the carpeting also is very dirty and stained. Everyone's socks were black.The family room downstairs was spacious and nice for the kids to hang out. Everyone liked the pool table. The host was very responsive with questions.

We fully enjoyed our stay at Galena Territory again this year! This is our 3rd year in a row at the Territory's, and the 1st time at this house, which was Exceptional. Kitchen, Dinning Room, large Family Room and 6 bedrooms, what more could you ask for. Very quite area and private home, we enjoyed the surroundings. Looking forward to stay at this home again. Sweet Escapes is an amazing! The house was clean, spacious and accommodations were perfect for 5 couples. We sat around the fire pit, rented a pontoon, some went into Galena to shop, we played bags (we brought), played games, enjoyed the hot tub, and just enjoyed being together. Something for everyone

The actual house and surroundings totally lived up to its reviews and information. It was perfect for our family, from the youngest at 8 to the oldest at 71. The Owners' Club passes were a great benefit for the kids and teenagers.

Post Christmas Getaway

Our extended family had a great stay at the Sweet Escape! Each adult couple had their own bedroom and bathroom and there were plenty of common spaces for playing games, watching TV, and doing puzzles. The hot tub was a bonus, as were the passes for the indoor pool and fitness center. Recommend this stay for large or small groups!
