This is my first hostel stay (I always thought the worst for these places). I absolutely loved it here. The staff were so kind and welcoming. I had a private bed with a clean bathroom. They had a wonderful vegetarian breakfast and coffee. A beautiful relaxing patio ou back.
I highly recommend this place. I'm very impressed!
Thank you for everything guys and I will recommend this place to anyone!

Beautiful place! This property is exclusive and the price reflects that. High price but receive high standards. The Arneal Volcano is right in your face and the surrounding area is amazing!

Excellent service in this family-run bed and breakfast. After a long and late flight, the airport pick up was appreciated and to wake up with a beautiful view of a tropical garden and forest area was so much nicer than waking next to a highway at a typical airport hotel. We arranged for our rental car to be delivered to the property, so we were able to avoid the congested traffic of San Jose. Lovely continental breakfast with croissants and coffee.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed, and the hotel itself was well maintained. The location was excellent—close to everything, with restaurants, shops, and attractions all within easy walking distance.
The breakfast was also very good, with a nice variety of options to start the day. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable place in a convenient location.

Great private compound w 25 rooms, lovely grounds, big rooms, pool, and good restaurant. Within 30 minutes of SJO. We used for our last night in CR to reduce travel stress. Would also be a great SJ starting point or even business hotel.

Great location as it is right on the beach but at one end of it so it’s a little quieter. Having said that you can still easily walk into the main area of the town to enjoy restaurant’s and the night life.

Great green, clean and comfy place to stay in town but off the noisy road.
They have made to order breakfast which is super.

Vicky waited up for us to arrive late at night when our flight was delayed. She gave us a main floor room so we wouldn’t have to take the luggage upstairs. The breakfast was outstanding.
