The most charming aspect of this place is that it is where Ticos go! And many there were! It happened to be Santa Semana so, as other locals told us, "todo el mundo estan en la playa". It was true! Hot and crowded, but full of life, which was so good to feel like normal life compared to fear-bound California. The room we had was dated but large, with full kitchen and separate sleeping quarters. Beds were comfortable and facility quiet at night, which worked well for travelling with young kids. Breakfast was yummy and overlooked the ocean. Coatis and birds were also friendly.
