We stayed for one night prior to our flight the next morning. The staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel is spotless and the morning complimentary breakfast was better than here in the states at the higher end hotels. It’s across the street from the airport so it’s easy in and out. Beware of the Denny’s next door. Less than stellar staff with fine dining prices for Denny’s style food. Not much food choices within walking distance but a short drive up the street has way better food. We would stay there again.

Very friendly staff, especially the shuttle driver! The room was clean, cool, and comfortable. The breakfast was great...a lot of options! We will stay here again when we need a place near SJO.

This was a great option for an overnight stay to prepare for an early morning flight. The best option due to the shuttle service from the hotel to the airport. We were surprised by the complementary breakfast bag they gave us since we left for the airport before breakfast was served. The beds weren’t the most comfortable but again it was just for one night so it was tolerable.

There is a funny smell in the hotel and in the 2 rooms we had. It snelled like mold, like the rooms were flooded and not cleaned up properly. The sound that AC made, made sleeping hard and it is one of the nosiest hotels I have ever stayed in my life.I am not referring to the airport noise! The price does not worth it at all.

Very conveniently located to the airport and car rentals. I usually land in San José in the evening, take the shuttle to the hotel, and get a good sleep before I pick up the car and head to the coast the following morning. Works out well. Holliday Inn Express is perfect for my needs.
