"We enjoyed our stay at Splendid, the hotel is in an excellent location for exploring the city, the staff was friendly and very helpful, we liked the breakfast but we thought it was a little overpriced, the air conditioning and room size along with a very good bathroom and shower. A very good hotel we would love to go back."

We absolutely loved this beautiful boutique hotel! From the first minute we stepped into it we felt pampered. Our room was facing a serene garden and had a huge balcony where we could relax after a day of sightseeing or enjoy a wonderful meal from the room service. The staff was exceptional - everyone at the reception, the room service and especially the concierge did their utmost to make our stay comfortable. The concierge was very knowledgeable about the restaurants and other sights in Lyon...

This is a very nice property. Some rooms are on the small side but bathrooms big. High end finish.
We were in 147 once and it had a few stairs inside the room and it was very small. We also had 225 and it was bigger with no stairs.
There were a couple of mtce issues in my room but they were fixed within 2 hours.
One issue when I tried for early check in they said they would call when room was ready. When I asked at 3:00 pm my key was ready in a box of other keys and luggage was in room. I...

Hotel Carlton Lyon was a lovely stay for us. The staff were fluent in French and English and very welcoming. The elevator, hallways, and room are well designed with a beautiful red color and wooden architecture. We stayed here for our honeymoon in Lyon as we tour France and the location of this Hotel is superb as you are in between the Old Town and the city. If you are thinking of visiting Lyon, this is a great Hotel to stay in. We will be back for sure.

A very classy hotel with wonderful views. We would stay again. The staff were very professional. One morning at breakfast staff seemed a little over whelmed and too busy. Best towels ever.

My husband and I were very happy with our stay in Hotel des Artisites and would return in a heartbeat. Although the room was admittedly small it was so well organized for unpacking that it functioned better and felt less cluttered and serene than a much larger hotel room we stayed in Nice. The room was one of the quietest we have ever stayed in. Although located on a square that could be quite busy, when the window was closed you couldn't hear anything. We had breakfast only once at the...

We were so very pleasantly surprised by this property! We chose it for the location and the price but the pictures online seemed to look a bit basic but it was so lovely. The hotel was clean, quaint, and more high end than expected. Sure the rooms amenities were basic, but the room itself was very clean and extremely comfortable.
The hotel was walking distance to everything we planned to see, and the quality of the restaurants close by were plentiful, wonderfully varied, with first rate food....

Friendly, hospitable staff. Excellent kitchen (Michelin 1 macarron restaurant). Rooms are cleverly laid out to provide comfort while maintaining the ambience of the 16th century monestary. Furniture is turn of the century simple. Don't expect 5 star convenience. This is a history experience.

This 1920s building has retained many original features. My single room had a fireplace but blocked w painted board and not like in picture. The decor is too my liking very eclectic and bathroom is modern. Shower good stream and hot ! The manager and front receptionist Amber were outstanding with fixing sink default and gracious in providing me a free breakfast. Both always friendly happy easy to talk to with great English.
