"An unassuming hotel that thoroughly pleased us! We walked less than 5 minutes to our hotel, concerned it was not nice enough. We were so wrong. The hotel is very well situated for navigating Annecy and the staff is wonderful. The rooms are spacious, clean and efficient. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Hotel Allobroges!"

"Location perfect with easy walk to old and new town. Close to bars and restaurants on same road. Hire bikes from hotel or just down the road. Spa beautiful and staff fantastic from seasoned receptionist to bar staff on their first day. Well done."

"Family suite was very spacious and clean for 4 adults. Really enjoy complimentary access to water/sparkling water and coffee machine in the eating area. Near of everything in walking distance."

"Property is a 10 min. walk from the train station quite near the enchanting medieval part of town with its shops eateries, pubs, canal, and the lake. Also, a boulangerie and grocery are nearby. Staff are well informed, welcoming, and speak French and English, at least. The building is 170 years old and thoroughly modern inside. Room had kitchenette, table/chairs, TV, secure WiFi, full bath, and comfortable bed with luxurious pillows. Very clean. It was a wonderful stay at a reasonable price. We would definitely stay again."

"We booked this hotel for an overnight stay and quick visit to the Lake. Overall the hotel was okay but our first impression was a little discouraging, as it was located a little farther away than anticipated, perhaps that's our mistake. Don't be fooled by the local area and initial look of the hotel. The spa facilities were closed during our stay and the outdoor pool was perfectly fine. The rooms were clean and tidy, but the decoration was a little odd in places, though nothing to be concerned about. When we arrived a nice lady checked us in but was on her own, so we had to wait for a while whilst she single-handedly managed the property. Perfect for a overnight stay but perhaps not for a long stay."
