"This hotel needs a total overhaul! One cannot open the blinds so room is always dark. Rusty mirror in bathroom, cabinet doors do not close. No phone in the room so had to go to front desk to talk to the staff. Horrible experience. 2-3 stars at best and should be charged accordingly. They have a nice looking lobby but the rooms are really bad."

"Yes, room was very clean;staff were incrediby helpful; the bar can use more wine varieties; breakfast was available - chocolate croissants were always fresh and amazing. I can't wait until the pool is finished. Decor is beautiful and we enjoyed having chats in the various seating areas. A real gem in Harlem surrounded by a variety of wonderful cuisines. "

"We stayed here three nights in May. We had reserved the Deluxe Room, 1 King Bed (Broadway View). The room was spacious and well appointed. The bed was comfortable, it had three chairs to sit on, the bathroom was large (and had a window). We were very satisfied. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and professional. Even the housekeeping staff greeting me every time I walked by them. The lobby is buzzing with activity with a coffee bar and lounge areas. After many trips to NYC staying in Midtown or Lower Manhattan, we opted this time to try out the UWS. So glad we did! The hotel was in a perfect location and we will definitely stay there next time we're back in NYC."
