Backyard fun for all, estuary, 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath rural setting Calling all Mermaids and families! Kid and pet friendly, this 4 bed, 2.5 bath hosts 2 king, 2 twin, 2 trundle with with linens. Full open kitchen with all the gadgets. Televisions are 65\` & 32\` complete with Netflix, Voodu, HBO Max & more. Guest have access to pool w/toys, estuary full of birds & deer, outdoor movie screen w/projector, various outdoor games, volleyball court Guest will receive their check in instructions 7 days prior to their arrival and will be able check in directly at the property. We will also provide guests with our contact information. Someone is available for emergencies after 8 pm as well. There is also a Welcome Book provided at the property with helpful information such as Wi-Fi password and trash days along with the check out procedure. Mermaids Haven is a pet friendly home. There is a nonrefundable pet fee of $125.00 if the fee is not added during booking please call our office to add your pet. There is a limit of two pets 20lbs and under. Pets are not allowed on any inside or outside furniture at anytime. The Rockport\`s Heritage and Cultural Arts District overlooking the Rockport harbor is only a few minutes from the home. Enjoy Rockport’s beautiful blue wave beach, restaurants/cafes, shopping, festival grounds, fishing, museums, art galleries and much, much, more! There is something for everyone with shopping, art galleries, museums, kayak rentals, duck hunting, bird watching, beaches, restaurants & festivals year around, too mention a few. Aransas Pass is also just a few minutes from the property. Enjoy easy access to the bays, intercoastal waterway and the Gulf of Mexico by visiting The Conn Brown’s Harbor Point Park. The Harbor offers several ramps, bait stands, picnic tables, public lighted fishing pier and a lighted parking lot. You can launch your boat from the public boat ramp at Conn Brown\`s Harbor Point Park and within minutes, you\`ll be in some of the best flats fishing areas the Texas coast has to offer! There are piers and miles of shoreline to fish from. Spend the day and utilize our low-cost transient docks and boat pump-out. The house was clean and bigger on the inside that what I had expected by the pictures. The kitchen is nice and fully stocked with what you would need to cook meals. My husband and I mainly were out back in the pool, which was really nice. They do have a gas grill to use and a nice volleyball court. There is no covered patio in the back yard to get out of sun during the day, but afternoons you get shade from the beautiful oak trees. Ive never once had a complaint, however this time was bad. Sheets were dirty, I had to wash them, there were no extra clean sheets in the home. Pool was dirty, then on the day before we check out, pool guy shows up at 7 am and pours so much cleaner in the pool it was not safe to use. We killed several rroaches, there were no cleaning supplies just to clean up the small messes that needed to be cleaned and there wasnt enou4gh trash bags. I am not letting my stay there this time form my opinion on the property, because the other 3 times were amazing. However, for the money we paid I did expect a little more cleanliness. ##### Juan G. There was lots of activities to keep everyone entertained. However, We rented this home because it says it is handicap assessable( I am 100% disable veteran) the home has many small drop offs from room to room and the only handicap bathroom has no shower and there are no rails or handles for commode. Also when we arrived Wed afternoon the pool was a hot mess! At least 40 dead frogs and the pool was slimy! Could not swim.. however the pool man came Thursday and added chemicals which helped the slim but we were continuously fishing frogs out of the pool. Hundreds of frogs! My granddaughter was so upset they were dying she left a float in there in hopes they could get on it. Im not sure how to fix that problem being that its so close to wildlife. Also you might leave a note somewhere saying that the lawn folks and pool man come on Thursday mornings. It was alarming when a white panel van with a masked man jumped out and ran to the back yard. The lawn people left the water hose out all the way down the sidewalk. Could be a liability for you. Also on our arrival the house was way to hot and took all night to cool it off. Need to set thermostat lower and get some blinds. I feel that this home has so much potential and so many things to offer just need to work the kinks out. Good luck in the future. ##### Curtis B. The house has EVERYTHING you need. The beds are very comfortable. The pool was clean. Only DOWNSIDE was the thermostat would automatically change to 78° at night making for a very sweaty and restless night. Would stay again (only in the fall) ##### Heather C. Séjour de 3 nuits en juillet 2021 ### 4/10 – Médiocre #### Teri H. 23 juin 2021 #### This is a beautiful property but do not rent. We loved the property but the management of this property was poor. I had an email confirming that curtains and blinds had been installed in the whole house. Upon arrival, there were no curtains or blinds on any of the downstairs windows. It took about 5 hours to cool the house down. We had to tact towels and sheets over all the downstairs windows. The back yard had not been mowed and the pool was dirty. We contacted the management and they sent out pool guy and someone to mow the yard. When I complained about anything, the manager made excuses and was very condescending. She acted as though I should be grateful for fixing the problems when all that should have been done before our arrival. The whole experience really put a damper on our trip. The property is beautiful though and just needs some upgrades. We would not rent this property again and would not recommend to our friends or family. ##### Teri H. Responses were fairly quick. Pool, deck, plenty of yard, inside and outside games, towels, fully stocked kitchen, extra throw blankets, back balcony a plus and a quiet family neighborhood.
