Good for couples looking a relaxing stay.

Nice place. A little overpriced for the attention of the hotel. Very few rooms. Not many guests. Quiet. Clean. Small pool (not too clean although). Hotel restaurant is not always opened. We didn't try their food. Food places within 5-15 min drive.

Experiencia un poco complicada, se nos ofreció restaurante y al llegar se nos comentó que no se encontraba el chef, señal de wifi baja e inconsistente. Las habitaciones muy bonitas y limpias, únicamente el tema del frigo no servía y no enfriaba

Excellent Mexican Hotel/Resort

We drove down from the US and primarily stayed at US brand hotels until we arrived at Chetumal. What a pleasant surprise; we were warmly welcomed and checked in using the translator apps on both of our phones (since we speak no Spanish and there English was limited). Room was beautiful and clean (hotel was also pet friendly, with a fee..), bath area was huge with jacuzzi tub and separate shower. Room service included a set up table in our room with two delicious meals. The entire staff was excellent!! If we ever head back that direction, we will definitely stay at the Mayan Secret.

4 days in paradise. Beautiful hotel.

My husband & I recently stayed for 4 days. Grounds are beautiful, rooms are gorgeous. Beautiful pool. Staff (especially George & his daughter) treat you like family. Can't wait to go back. There is one problem--the staff speaks very little English.

Tiene áreas verdes, poco personal, la cocina es muy lenta, y regular, el poco personal es amable,pero si está lejos de la laguna como a 25 minutos

Very scary no security guard at night only 12 rooms and no restaurant no pool
