Guests are NOT PERMITTED to bring a grill onto the property.<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< We've installed a new taller FENCE, extended the backyard PATIO to have a larger eating and hang out area since families love the yard for the kiddies (adults young at heart) and dogs to run around. :) We named our place "The Queen City Jewel" in honor of Charlotte's nickname "Queen City" and the use of color throughout the house to honor a queen's jewels. ;) When you walk in the door to the beautifully designed living & formal dining room. You will immediately notice how spacious and relaxing the vibe of the place is. Color splashed around the house that speaks to the youth and modern designs of today. The home has a Security System that will make your stay stress-free. There is a doorbell camera facing the front exterior of the home. Ample driveway fits 4 full size cars and street parking. OUR HOME IS IDEAL for larger groups as we can sleep 13 people or those wanting a very large house to spread out. We're both for vacation renters, corporate rentals, traveling workers and those relocating to Steele Creek, South Charlotte, Fort Mill, Rock Hill, Tega Cay. We're only 5 min from the main highway to quickly access those areas. \*\*\*\* FIRST FLOOR \*\*\*\* LIVING ROOM: \-- You have a SMART TV with a SOUND SYSTEM you can connect to bluetooth for music during family and friends bonding time or your cooking time! The couch can comfortably sleep an adult, we also have an air mattress available. KITCHEN: \-- We've try to think of as many amenities to accommodate our traveling chefs. ;) We offer a standard coffee maker, as well as a FRENCH PRESS for our coffee lovers. Two toasters to choose from, including a toaster oven to nicer warm or toast some left overs. FORMAL DINING ROOM: \-- We have a bench as well as formal seating for a nice family or friends meal. \*\*\*\* SECOND FLOOR \*\*\*\* All bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. We have 3 bedrooms PLUS a Bonus room that invites that relaxing feeling you have when you are comfortably staying at your own home. ALL BEDROOMS HAVE A SMART TV! PRIMARY BEDROOM w/ attached Bathroom: \-- QUEEN BED -- When you reach the top of the stairs, to the left, you have the Primary bedroom with an attached bathroom. This bedroom is SEPARATED from the additional bedrooms by the large Walk-In closet and hallway bathroom. SECOND BEDROOM & THIRD BEDROOM: \-- QUEEN BED -- To the right of the stairs are the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms which are across the hall from each other (not next to each other) for some added privacy. UPSTAIRS BATHROOM: \-- The full hallway bathroom separates the Primary and additional bedrooms. BONUS ROOM: \-- 4 TWIN BEDS -- The large, spacious bonus room is next to both the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms (which is on the opposite side of the house from the primary bedroom). This room also has a SMART TV, a PLAYSTATION as well as GAMES and TOYS for the kids. BACKYARD: PATIO: \-- When you exit the back door, you're greeted by some crisp fresh air and a nice comfy outdoor sofa right there on the patio! There's also a great table for you to enjoy your meals, a chat or just some drinks. YARD: \-- NEWLY re-fenced, so no kids or fur babies can escape if the gate is closed! Great place for kids, dogs OR adults to run around and enjoy some fresh air. There are also outdoor games like Giant Connect 4 and CORNHOLE. PLEASE NOTE: We do charge a PET FEE. We must be notified prior to booking AND this must be PAID prior to booking. As there aren't always guests that honor our home that we spent extensive time to deliver the best possible home experience. The house was spacious & the neighborhood was quiet (except for a frequently barking dog next door). Rooms & beds were decent. Kitchen appliances, utensils & laundry were adequate for our use & this location was very convenient to shopping, Carowinds, & a variety of restaurants. Fenced back yard was a big plus. We did have a few issues, however, with this house. We were there during a pretty cold week - & the HVAC system for a 2 story house operated on a single thermostat on the first floor. This resulted in consistent & significant discrepancies between the temperature on the first & second floors. Challenges learning how to change the programmed cycles also resulted in waking up to a cold house, with the thermostat set at something in the 50s. (By the middle of our stay, we did get this figured out, but it made those mornings quite uncomfortable). While there, the ice maker never worked nor did the light over the kitchen sink. We did not call the property owner/manager for these issues because we didn't want someone coming "at any time" to address them. (we had a rescue dog who was still unpredictable around others). One trundle bed sheet was stained & trash was found under the bed. The TV in the big bedroom could not be synced to either of the remotes in that room. It would have been nice to have tissues and extra towels available, but we provided those ourselves. We would consider this property again. ##### mb m. Home has steep stairs and can comfortably sleep 10 upstairs. One child slipped on stairs as they are bare wood. One towel per person was provided. Wooden floor was dirty as we had to throw out socks they were so soiled. After that we wore shoes indoors. We also had to purchase fry pans as those provided were extremely worn and need to be replaced. Otherwise adequate kitchen items provided. So overall it was a mix of good to fair. A few immediate improvements could go a long way. Also had a glass with a chip in it. In the end we had a good visit but will not make our list to return. ##### Jim & Terry K. There were roaches upstairs in the bedrooms, mold and mildew in the showers and don’t get me started on the kitchen. The kitchen sink is so rusty and gross I could barely make myself use it. The pots and pans are not min stick do do not plan on cooking there. The baseboards look like they have not been cleaned in years. Don’t waste your money on this place. ##### Lori C. The bedrooms are very clean and comfortable. Cheryl also was really thoughtful when she stocked the house. I especially appreciated the coffee maker and supplies! The bathrooms were stocked with towels and toilet paper, as well as soap. She even had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers in both full bathrooms. I was most impressed with the fenced in backyard. The fence is gorgeous! I brought my dogs with me since I was having work done in my home. I live locally, and was challenged to find a comfortable place for Both my son and my dogs. Cheryl was also very responsive when I reached out for questions. She worked with me in my unique situation to make sure I had a safe space. I can’t say enough about this property, the owner, and the space itself.
