The staff at the desk and the servers at the restaurant are not well trained, they are unprofessional and have no idea how to solve a problem (the only downside). But the manager Sergio has a very good customer service and has helped my experience to be better. I also liked the customer service provide for all other workers in the Hotel, very kind people and helpful. I would recommend staying at the hotel.
25 year old hotel in poor condition and low standards for foreign tourists !
We chose this hotel based on the good reviews, however we had the shock of our lives !
We have been 5 times in Cancun and never stayed in such poor conditions. For the money we paid in U.S. dollars, this experience was a rip-off and totally unacceptable conditions!
Absolutely all furniture, carpets, rugs, chairs are old and outdated, furniture upholstery stained and lobby floor tiles chipped. The rooms don’y look any differently. The margin of the rugs are rolled in, so anybody could trip easily and brake a leg. The bathrooms sinks have poor drainage since there is only one plumbing pipeline for the whole hotel.
There is only one pool and that is very small. It was crowded all the time, full with drunk people and there was no chance to find a lounge chair at any time during the day.
On the beach, no chance to find available sun-loungers or shade. All was occupied from early morning. The sun-loungers are flimsy and in poor condition, not able to sustain heavier people.There was seagrass on the beach everyday, left there to rotten in the sun and never removed.
We will NEVER come back AGAIN !
VERY POOR TREATMENT and HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT !
We had a great time together. The least pleasing parts were how with the inclusive some things weren’t included, some weren’t. They would only give you two water bottles a day. We ran into many things like that - that at other resorts would never be an issue. Other wise our experience in the ocean and time together was good. The sushi was great at the resort.
