Place was great just step out the back and into the boat. Loved having the nature preserve out the front door. Tortoises crossing the road and drinking from the puddles on the one rainy evening.
Nice getaway if you seek quiet times with access to great boating and fishing. The area is not a tourist trap and makes you feel like a local. Space is small but just right for a solo traveler like myself or a couple. Few tweaks and this is a 5⭐️ rating.

the host was more than accommodating and the neighborhood is very quiet with a preserve across the street. big comfy King, nice laundry and an awesome backyard with a really nice grill. park your car right outside the door.
This is our second year staying here. We love the condo, bathroom, cleanliness. Comfortable and convenient. We park our boat at their dock, so open the door, walk to your boat and your off exploring! Jeff & Carla are friendly, great hosts…
We had everything we needed for a long weekend getaway.
The condo was super clean and the king sized bed was very comfortable.
Beautiful neighborhood, friendly neighbors, and gorgeous weather helped to make our stay perfect.
The inside is very clean and cozy. Being right on the canal was nice for fishing. There was some construction tools etc around the property as if the owner was in the middle of some projects but this did not effect our stay whatsoever. I would stay here again.Infact, it was
Cute & clean nautical studio on the lower level and on a canal.
We enjoyed two days at this rental, a couple of days post hurricane and the rental was on point. Please enjoy a stay in this community. They are rebuilding and island strong. Support the locals!
This townhouse is exactly has it is described. Very nicely decorated, full bath with washer and dryer. Kitchen essential for meals or cocktails. Less than 20 steps to backyard canal which leads you to the Gulf of Mexico. Sunset on the patio were fantastic. If you are looking for a weekend or week getaway , we highly recommend. Check in process was easy and the host were very easy to communicate with.
Had a great stay and the owner was very quick to respond to my questions about having my boat at the dock also let us add a day. We had a great time being able to hop on the water and also drive to local restaurants. Quite area and great ambiance. The outside of the building is a little worse for wear from hurricane Ian, but that was to be expected and you couldn’t tell in the apartment. Was still very clean and everything worked as it should. There is also a Publix nearby so you’re able to get some items if you forgot anything. So very thankful for the opportunity to have a getaway with quick access to Charlotte harbor water and fishing.
We were looking for a carefree place to relax and fish. If you want to experience "old style Floirda" it's the perfect place. The pictures are exactly what you get. Very clean. Jeff responded immediately any time we had a question. The canal fishing is fun for mangrove snapper. If you are looking for exciting beaches you might think again. It's pretty far from night life etc. Though the area was hit hard from the hurricane, they are slowly making a come back. There are a few really good restaraunts within a few minutes drive.
