The only things I would recommend would be a mirror in the upstairs bathroom, maybe put one on the back of the bathroom door. The bathroom mirror downstairs could use an upgrade as well. Also, the queen mattress probably needs to be replaced upstairs. Overall I would definitely recommend this cabin. The walls are dark stained with very dull lighting. The water is not filtered at the house level; the water filter on the refrigerator was red - indicating it needs to be changed. Also the infloor electrical is covered by carpet; the plug is not cleanly revealed from the surrounding carpet, presenting a fire hazard. The dishwasher does not appear to have ever been cleaned. The icemaker did not work. The jacuzzi is old and it did not look clean. I am not saying that it wasn't cleaned it just did not look clean. There was a dirty ring or stain around the jacuzzi tub. If I were to make a few recommendations they would be 1) - first impressions count, with that said I would clean up/ paint the front porch deck and rails - weather worn, mildewed- 2) nice screened in porch but could use newer/ better furniture . 3) the rooms are rather dark could use more table lamps ( had to go to kitchen table to read a book ) 4) should have luggage trays in the bedrooms since there are not any dressers. 5) smelled pretty damp when we checked in. Feb 28, 2022 #### Nice escape This cabin was very convenient to town. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. For what little time we spent at the cabin, it was perfect. The only thing I would add is the owner should put in a new shower head and leave more washcloths.
