  • Situated on twenty gently rolling acres and overlooking the Swan Mountains, Stepping Stone Guest House is ideally located for exploring the quaint town of Bigfork, the greater Flathead Valley, and Glacier National Park.

    STEPPING STONE guest house has TWO QUEEN BEDS, a private bathroom, a sitting area, and a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster oven, and microwave. Access to the guest quarters is via a flight of stairs. Towels and bed linens are provided.

    Feel free to stop by the studio and check out the latest from the Proctor Studios team.

    DIRECTIONS:
    From Hwy 35 at Saint John Paul Catholic Church, it's the fourth driveway on your left immediately after Rising Mountain Assisted Living. Apple & Google Maps may direct you too far down Coverdell Road—look for the large, sculptural metal mailbox and gravel driveway. Please drive slowly as there are nesting birds in the grass and gravel along the road, as well as a small, older dog who doesn't navigate well around moving vehicles.

    PARKING:
    Park in front of any of the garage doors.

    ENVIRONMENT:
    The guest apartment does not have AC. It is recommended to open the windows at night to let the cool air in and close them during the day to help keep the space cool.

    PETS:
    Well-behaved dogs are welcome; please notify us in advance.

Nice place to stay in Big Fork

Entire upstairs suite over garage is yours. Great feel on a very large property. About a quarter mile off the road and nice and private. Well worth a stay when you're near Flathead Lake. A couple of miles from Big Fork's small and quaint downtown which is on the lake.

Fantastic Stay at Proctor Studio

My wife and I spent our first wedding anniversary at Proctor Studio. Lee is a wonderful host. Everything was clean and neat, private and relaxing. He even gave us a tour of his gallery and a demonstration in his studio. We had very friendly conversations and we felt right at home. We will highly recommend anyone to stay at Lee's place.

Nice little bonus room above the garage. No air conditioning and the room was really hot at checkin. Would recommend a box fan to pull cool air from outside. Is an 45 minute drive from Glacier park. There was no way for me to secure the room from the outside since we were not issued a key so that was odd.but the room was great and had a beautiful view
