That being said, the reason they had to offer us anything is that the beds (all nicely made) ALL had dirty linens. Not "a little bit dirty." "Dog and human hair, crumbs, and bits of leaves" kind of dirty. Given that by the time we realized that it was 9PM and our toddler was mid-meltdown, we searched for clean sheets, found none, and proceeded to wash the sheets ourselves. The agency sent someone with clean sheets (no mattress protector, we had to wash and dry that one ourselves), and by 10:30 PM we finally had a clean bed to sleep on.The rest of the house wasn't spotless either, but I'd have forgiven it if the beds hadn't been gross. Another slightly concerning thing was that the check out instructions say that we have to wash all the towels ourselves before leaving. If you are in a hurry to leave, what do you do? You wash them in the quickest possible setting. So everyone who comes next will have barely washed towels to use. Gross.
