Located only one house back from The Esplanade, enjoy a relaxing beach getaway at The Salty Dog Beach house.
The charming cottage nestled to the rear of the property sleeping 6. Complemented by a large fully fenced yard with established gardens, birdlife and carparking.
There is plenty of outdoor space for kids and pets to play, while the three bedroom cottage is spacious and equipped to ensure you have everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday in this fantastic location.
With the beach, playgrounds and cafe's within a few minutes walk you can leave the car keys behind. The Aldinga Beach shopping centre is only a few minutes drive away. You may like to head into neighboring towns such as McLaren Vale or Willunga for the day. Did we mention the beach is a few minutes walk? Or you could jump in the car and drive and park on the beach for the day.
If your a bike rider you will love riding around Aldinga Beach. The walk along the Esplanade is wonderful. Having a vehicle will allow you to drive a little further and enjoy our wine region, Victor Harbor and other wonderful beaches.

Our family's perfect vacation home away from home:*Super-host Natalie took excellent care of us - responded quickly and was so helpful in answering whatever questions we had*Gorgeous grounds and accommodation - beautiful rustic unique decor and heaps of space for adults, kids and pets. Indoor and outdoor dining and lounge facilities. Lots of carpark room and areas for running around and playing.*Easy and efficient check in and out. A guide book folder is provided with information for any questions you might have.*Great facilities - it's just like being at home, almost everything we needed was thought of eg. WiFi, stereo sound system, kids activities and games, baby stuff, pet needs (treats, poo bags, pet friendly furniture), side lamps, TVs, aircons, fully functioning kitchen, basic coffee and tea facilities.*Luxury gourmet lifestyle - extra touches for extra comfort and relaxation like complimentary toiletries, kid treats, dog treats, luxurious soft bedding and towels, coffee machine with gourmet ground coffee, spa facilities, hats, stubby holders etc.All those extra little details you might not think of to pack. We enjoyed our second stay in two years. A very comfortable house with all we needed and plenty of room for our dog. .Unfortunately the current algae situation kept us off the beach but the absence of humans, and dogs, seemed to encourage the return of many sea birds. There. is still plenty to do outdoors. We particularly enjoyed the Willunga market and exploring the surrounding countryside.

Great for a get-away

The house was clean and cool when we arrived. A welcome relief from the hot weather outside. The home has decorations celebrating the loving nature of dogs and is equipped for a well-behaved pooch. We enjoyed a few lazy days here, venturing out for meals and relaxing in the beautiful front garden. Our dog was happy and calm, spending time in the shade outside.It was nice to know that when we came back sandy that there was a dog washing station available and a well secured yard space that we felt comfortable letting our dog explore with relaxed supervision.This property would be suitable for up to a group of four adults and two young children (and perhaps one or two relaxed dogs).

We had a lovely stay at this beachside cottage. Comfortable beds and plenty of space for the family. Our dog enjoyed many beach walks and the large garden. The dog wash station was great!

Wonderful!

The house had everything we needed and it was so nice to have the port-a-cot and high-chair all set up and ready to go. Beds and furniture all very comfortable. Great to have the large secure yard for our dog too! Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Quick Getaway

Perfect, very comfortable and cosy.....had heating and cooling....the property had everything you needed.... nothing missing......there was even gladwrap :) and little extra's in case you forgot something..... two minutes walk to the beach.....lots of cafe's.... hotels.... wineries nearby.... and shops for your necessities.

Aldinga Beach Getaway

A great family home situated super close to the beach. Very comfortable beds and furniture and aircon which was a blessing as it was very hot the first few days we were there. Great bbq and outdoor area fully fenced which was great for our grandchildren.The house had a lovely vibe and was so easy to enjoy. We highly recommned this property and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Excellent choice

Great choice we made for our 5 days stay, it is a really lovely home! It is set in a side street just a few meters away from the main road and 2 minutes to the beach where you can enjoy your morning walks with you dog along the beach or along the path. The house is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need, it has 2 king size comfortable beds that you don’t get to have at a lot of holiday rentals. The front yard is beautifully landscaped and makes it sitting out in the front yard so enjoying after a busy day watching our little dogs play. The host of the property was very helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. We will certainly choose The Salty dog Beach House again for our next holiday.
