"Our last night there was a screaming child running around outside our room between 1130PM and12:30 AM and than continued to run wild on the balcony on the 2nd level which went on for another half an hr. We werent sure if they were guests or not but it was a very unpleasant end to our stay. I commend the housekeeper who we believe lives there, that came out and tried to difuse the situation the best she could. Other than that everything was enjoyable. "The Diplomat was cheap and convenient. We knew it was a motel and had motel expectations, but we were surprised to see the common area in our room (101) to be so big. I would have liked it if there was a cooling system or air conditioning unit in the bedrooms, but we were patient and let Mother Nature cool off our room as the sun went down. All in all, it was a one-night stay and it was surprisingly good for motel standards! No complaints!"
