Overall nice big room with lots of space. Window latch was broken by the bathroom. Door didn't shut tight as the hasp was messed up. Sliding lock was barely attached to the door trim and door looked as though it had been kicked in. All the other rooms had dead bolts and looked equally nice inside. Hard wood floored inside which worked wonders for our dog. Staff where great and friendly. Getting on the main 4 lane road was a chore in the early morning and afternoon as it is very busy. I would stay again but not in this room unless they fixed the doors as myself and my family felt uneasy about the window and the door and lock.

"Spring break 2017"
Came up for spring break. Kids loved the pool( it's only 3 feet deep) I also loved the pool. It was rainy out and a lot of our activities were outdoors so it took some pressure off. Lobby was nice room was decent. Staff was awesome and the breakfast bar was amazing!! Although I feel like their could have been better signage for guests traveling north.

"Great manager. One of the best prices for what yo"
The manager was really nice and very friendly. I was pleasantly surprised for meeting such a manager at a not well known hotel. I'd stay here again.

"Nice Hotel, On Beach, Needs Renos"
The room had an excellent view of the ocean. However, it only had one light in the room and it was 4 feet or so from the bed, so you couldn't do any reading at night. The tub's caulking was in very poor shape in the bathroom and desperately needed re-doing. We had a better appointed room in the same hotel last year.(ie was in better shape) The caretaker said they were planning to totally renovate the hotel in 2 years--2019 and were not planning to do a lot in the meantime. He was a pleasant fellow who did offer another reading light, but we were only there for one night. The room rates have gone up almost 20% from last year. Incidentally, the hotel comes with a 10% discount applying to the restaurant just next door. I had a rather unpleasant experience with their clam chowder and would not go there again. I can highly recommend Deez Restaurant down the road to the north...good food, good quantity, fair prices.
