Cardigan Bay Scuba Diving Vacations

I have never stayed at a hotel that did not have a refrigerator or microwave. That was a slight disappointment. Luckily we brought a cooler. The staff was moderately friendly. The food choices went down significantly after 10 pm. I have to say I was a little upset to see that the cafe inside sold water for $9. It was even more upsetting to find the same water was on the vending machine on our floor for $3. There was a hair dryer, but no coffee maker. But the worst thing was the musty smell in one of our two rooms and the thick smell of cigarettes in the casino. I guess it can't be helped if it is allowed there. But they really should spray freshener or have something that takes away the smell. The parking indoor garage was a little tight in and out because there was a consistent flow of traffic up and down and no real gaps. There are lots of pillars so it was a tight squeeze around curves. Thankfully there was open self parking outside. Also you should be able to badge in and out of the parking garage and self parking with the room key. However, it did not work in the self park outdoor lot. I called customer service and they opened the arm. On the way out we returned our keys of course and when I put the ticket in it wanted to charge $50 instead of $40 which was already being charged to the room. So I should not have had to pay at all. Again I had to call customer service to exit. That time 2 people were waiting several minutes behind me. I only left twice.

We had a great stay and can’t wait to come back.

Perfect location for our Disney weekend

The Fairmont Miramar is a fantastic place to stay with a beautiful oceanfront location that really adds to the experience. It’s just minutes from the Santa Monica Pier, which makes it great for exploring the area. The service at the pool is excellent, with friendly and helpful staff who make you feel welcome. One of the highlights of our stay was breakfast at Fig Restaurant inside the hotel. The food was always fresh and tasty, and it quickly became our favorite morning spot. Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
